Hello Everyone!

We just received confirmation on our reservation! This is a first cruise for myself, and my family (DH and 2 kidlets - 12 [well will turn 12 on ship] and 7). We're travelling with friends who have been on a Disney Cruise before (which is how I was talked into this!)

I've been looking through the posts of this thread, and have a lot of catching up to do, but I look forward to chatting with all you.

Welcome! We talked some friends into coming as well! There are a fair number of tweens, especially 12yo's, that are going. If you want them in on the tween email list so they can get to know each other let me know. Also let me know if you want to join the facebook group. We have a great disgroup so far!

Thanks Jason! I found you on facebook yesterday, but my kidlets distracted me and I forgot to send a friend request. I wish I could add my oldest to the email list, but we aren't telling them about the cruise until Memorial Day weekend. I know we're horrible...... If we tell them sooner, then I will have her added. I know she would love to be a part of it.

We actually aren't telling anyone. At this moment our plan is to get a picture at embarkation and post it on facebook before we set sail... so no one can spoil the surprise for our kidlets.

So the Fe List is growing I know some people might want it to be separated into two smaller groups, which is fine. I also know there are a few who don't mind give to everyone. So to fix this dilemma, if we separate the groups the people who want to give to everyone can be placed on both lists

Okay I have not been on the disboards in a while - I am really just realizing how many people are from Louisiana on this cruise - that is weird - I wonder if it is because we get out of school so much earlier than much of the country - of course we are back to school the first week in august and much of the country is not but oh well.

After all the time watching sail always on web cam from Fishlips will have go and eat their. It is a long ride for us this trip. Will probably do two nights on road going.

Had great time on Magic out of Galveston. But DCL is moving on from that location in 2014. Was a 5 hour drive from house.

Watching to see if we do FE this trip.

Um Yes we are doing the FE this trip - just maybe not a gift each day per person, like I did on the Magic - that got to be a bit much running all over that ship everyday.

My son's school gets out around May 17 and go back around August 19. Of course it always depends on how many snow days we have to use.

We're in Ohio as well and that Friday is the last day of school. Our son, finishing his Junior year, will miss the last day of school!
