QUESTION????
Where are we going to meet for the sail away party - also how many children will there be? I'd like to buy bubbles or some other little thing for them if there aren't 100 of them.
\MAL

Where is a good spot Mal? Port? Starboard? Forward? Aft? Definately the 10th floor/deck.

12 kids as far as I can tell from Jim's chart thingy. That includes some teens.

I know Melissa would LOVE some bubbles. Thanks for the idea - I would share the cost of the group with you. :cheer2: We saw Dinosaur years ago right after it's release - i bet they will show POT3 in the BV Theatre and Mickey Tron - or whatever it is called. We like to do sailaway on the port side - they always have people waving BIG mickey hands. Midde of the of ship.

C'mon Mal,

You know you want to by bubbles for eveyone, I could see it now as we start to sail away millions of tiny bubbles everywhere. Just kidding about buying bubbles for everyone. I counted 12 children and agraygirl's baby which would make it 13.

Only 13 more working days for me until we leave, WooHooo!

Jim.

Personally, I love my bubble gun. Used it at church this morning and got just as big a reaction from the "older" folks (70 and up) as I did the little guys.
There was a Don Ho reference because it shot truly "tiny bubbles.":rotfl:

Hello, everyone!
I introduced my mom to all of you over the weekend. She said it was very nice to meet you.
She thought Jim's chart was great - except for the part where her age is in there. She looked at me and said, "What the heck is wrong with you?! Why would you stick my age in there?"

Nice to meet you, too, Monica31671's mom. I don't list our ages either, makes me feel too much older than some of the others on the board. DH and I are in your "age bracket" but with a teen instead of an adult child.

We've had rain, rain, and more rain here in Oklahoma. And a tornado or two, which is normal this time of year.
I'm ready to cruise!!! Bring on the sunshine!

Our family is ready to go! (Except for packing, of course!!)
Only 16 more days till we leave for our Land and Sea WDW Vacation!!:cheer2:

I pray that the surgery goes well and the recovery is easy!

Thanks for the info Jim I'll buy around 20 bottles that should be enough. Thanks Iloveokw for offering to share the price, but I would love to do this. I like the bubbles and the more the merrier. Don't know how old everyone else is, but I know I am old enough not to be cruising with my child (who is now a mother) I haven't been able to be on the boards for a few days. My laptop broke, DH fixed it last night and I actually had a few minutes at work today. Doing this reminds me I should be making spa appointment. Talk to everyone soon

I know some of you have mentioned upgrading and wondering what might be available. Maybe I just have too much time on my hands right now, but I played around and found at least 25 staterooms available with some categories just listed as GTY. Didn't think to get the cabin numbers, but most were grouped together it seems like.

cat. 4, 6 and 12 listed as GTY
cat. 11 has 7 available, 6 on deck 6 and 1 on deck 5
cat. 10 has 4 available all on deck 1
cat. 9 has 6 all on deck 1
cat. 7 has 1 on deck 7
cat. 5 has 7 on deck 7

cat. 8 totally filled
cat. 1,2,3 info not available.

Hello my peeps.

My DH has been out of town at a confrence since Saturday and life has been crazy without him!! I also miss him horribly. He should be home tonight and life will return to normal. I hope.

So, I have put two suit cases out on my dining room table. Everytime I think of something I need to bring I throw it in a suitcase. Pretty smart eh?

Also, I wasn't going to get my baby girl a seat on the plane. She could fly for free as a "lap baby" but then I watched some video about it and learned that if there WAS an emergency, I would have to put her on the floor of the plane under my seat and hold her there. It's some FAA rule. :scared: I was horrified. So we blew an extra $300 on her own seat Ill buckle her car seat in.

Today I got an airline confirmation for our tickets and her name isn't on the confirmation, just Me, DH, and DS. *sigh* I also realized that we paid for it on a different credit card... Ugh. That's going to complicate hings a bit at the airport.

BTW, the term, GTY, means "Guarantee" and is a promotional rate that includes the condition that you do not select your stateroom at time of booking. As I understand it, in order to be upgraded by Disney, one must usually accept a GTY reservation.

Ok, who will be the first to do the document dance? I sure was hoping to see them in the mail yesterday - no go.

Happy Mother's Day to all our sailing moms!

:goodvibes

glad to know other tickets have not arrived I was starting to get nervous - however, being such an organizer (others not in the know may say I am a control freak) that is not uncommon. Agraygirl - I understand about the baby - hope that it works out Pixie dust pixie dust:wizard: Well I guess I am going to start packing - not so much clothes but bathing suits, sun screen, water shoes, stuff I will not be needing in the next couple of weeks.

Had DGD birthday yesterday, wonderful time, can hardly wait until she is old enough for dh and I to take on the cruise with us. Happy mothers day all ---

See ya real soon

Keep your eyes open, we got our travel docs today!!:dance3: I was disappointed when I stopped at the mailbox but thrilled when I reached my back door and saw UPS had been there.
I am so ready to go!
