We booked this cruise 10 days ago and will be joining you in June. We too are anxiously hoping for a nice bump in room category by the time we board the boat.

I have excursions, stays before cruise, dining, and other stuff. I can also send this to you in excel or a pdf if you are interested in it.

Hi, I just need to know for the FE do I make one pocket for each family member or is it just for the kids? Also when will we meet to find out everyone's cabin numbers?

If you're talking about the actual FE you make or buy- and I think you are... you can make it however you want! There is no set way- some have just for the family, some for each member of the family. etc. We have 2- since we always have 2 rooms- so we made a spot for "family, mom & dad" on one, and the other has pockets for each child. But if we were in one room with 5 of us- we probably wouldn't have a pocket for each- we'd probably have still 3 pockets like one for family, one for mom/dad, one for kids- or something like that.
Like I said- on the last cruise some people even had walmart bags hanging there- so really it is TOTALLY up to you what you do for your FE. I'm sure if you have one for just "family" that they'll just put all the kids stuff in there and you can divvy up later yourself. LOL

Anyone have an idea as to what to call our group? It would be neat to have name to put on our door magnets!

I was thinking about that last night.. I've never been on a cruise without a name yet! But then this is the only one I've been on that didn't have a massively huge DIS group on it. LOL I'm terrible at thinking up names though. I suppose Bargain Hunters group doesn't sound good (although it is the truth huh? LOL)

~~~ This was the recommendation for me from my post on cruise critic for KW and I think that's what we're gonna do.
"With the amount of time you have available, I would head down Duval to Southernmost Point (about 1 mile walk). Take some pics there then two blocks up is the Butterfly Conservatory. The kids will love it. You can head back up Duval stopping at the different stores or head over a block to see the 6 toed cats at Hemmingway's house. Once you head back towards Mallory Sq. you can detour over to the Blonde Giraffe for some Key Lime Pie."

Wait- so that means you aren't going on the trolley?

Just called and "moved" my new 2nd persons to the "lead" positions with NO problems!!! So now it's wait and see when I call back next Friday to cancel my "old leads"....cross your fingers everyone!!!

Wondering what our numbers are on the FEs. I made 50 and I don't think that's enough. I need to know SOON because I need to purchase more thing to make more and they come by mail, otherwise, I'll be short and that wouldn't be good. I hate to keep paying shipping each time too. Is there going to be an end date for joining so we have a definite number well enough beforehand so we can all finalize or make our our gift/s -- Mine take quite some time to make, so I thought I'd ask so I'm not panicking the month before the trip and trying to figure out how to get them there, etc.

Not sure about the trolley yet or not, depends on finances. We decided on the Dolphin Encounter as this is the last year my dd would be free. I know they really want to feed the stingrays at CC too. We may save the $$ and instead of using it for the trolley in KW use it towards the stingrays at CC.

I adjusted my price on a Cat 9 and saved $1,555 (yes, no typo here!) and they even allowed me to keep all my OBCs. If you have a Cat 12 this doesn't apply to you, but you may want to check anyway, as you may be able to get a higher Cat at the same price you're paying now. Check the DCL site guys! Brucechase, we are planning on doing the trolley tour but will probably do it on our own. Our first order of business when we hit Key West is to try to get to the Catholic church in time for the noon mass so we don't know what time we'll be starting the tour. We also want to go to see the fort.

I had the original price adjusted to the new price, and got a $1,555 refund. Go to the DCL web site and plug in the info as if you were making a new reservation. If the new price you get is lower than what you paid, you can get the difference back.

I did and it isn't any different. I just switched to this cruise on Sunday, so the price must have already dropped by then. That's still good, though.

I totally understand. You should probably print out the coupon though JUST in case. Well atleast I would. LOL Cause just in case you changed your mind you'd get the kids free.

We are booking Dolphinaris thru DCL. I think it is at 10:00. At Grand Cayman, we are taking DCLs island excursion with the butterfly farm, turtle farm, a trip to the rock formation, "hell," and the rum cake store. Key West we are just walking about on our own. We want to go to Margaritaville and get key lime pie on a stick. We may go to the aquarium, too.

We are staying at the Radisson the night before but don't have the shuttle booked, yet. We don't care to get there too early so maybe the 11:00 one. I still need to call. I also have to make reservations for a car to pick us up from MCO and take us to the Radisson. Any suggestions?

Do they do upgrades in order that you booked? I know many say it's totally random- but then others said that thru asking others on here they've figured out you have a better chance if it's your first cruise (it's our 3rd) and ofcourse if you're in a cat 12 gty with 4 ppl you're definitely moving up to cat 11.
I didn't know there were THAT many cat 11's though! I thought there were less and that more would be upgraded higher up than 11. LOL
I don't care what cat we're in- I'm just hoping against hope that we're close to one another or atleast the rooms are on the same deck! Please Lord... that's all I ask. LOL

Well, I must not have the "body" for these or something. I bought several sizes (because I don't know what weight I"ll be by the time of the cruise- plus my DD15 is almost the same size as me -except with less fatty areas LOL- and I thought she might wear the smalls) -so I know I didn't get the wrong size because I tried all 3- and um.. she won't be wearing it and I probably won't either. None of the styles I tried out of the book looked good on me and OMG the v-neck is really low v-neck. I tried to make it not so low but then it's all bunched up around under my arms and/or around my neck and such. I think it might be great for people with model bodies or something though. LOL Some of the styles looked good on the booklet but when I did it- it looked like I was twisting/etc. a towel around me or something. Not glamorous looking at all.

I hate it didn't work out for you. I really like it on me and I'm definitely not a model. I'll try to PM you the same thing again.

I'm still trying to get this cruise sorted out....it's DD's high school graduation cruise. 4 of us are "certain," 2 are in flux as they still don't know when their last day of school will be. However, we have a couple of "alternate guests" if any of our originals have to drop out.

Somehow, it's hard to focus on the cruise with things so "up in the air." The school board meeting is next week, and supposedly the schedule will be finalized at that time. Oh well.....we'll know soon.

Are we having a fish exchange group? Or...I guess what I mean is has anyone organized one yet? Are we planning a Dis-meet?
