So, it looks like we have a 3-way tie for last doc's. Unless there's anyone else that wants to admit that they haven't received their docs .

So, any ideas on how to break the tie? I'm getting thirsty thinking about it!

How about is you *never* receive your docs. I don't have any, and I won't! Course I'm not supposed to, but that's another story Actually I make my own docs...so does that mean I can win?

I just got everyone's birth certificates out and my DS's birth certificate doesn't have the raised seal..don't know why. Do I need to worry?

How many times do I have to tell you the rules for breaking ties?

1st Tie-Breaker: Those with most DC's don't buy

2nd Tie-Breaker: If tie has still not been broken - cruiser traveling from farthest away does NOT buy

Yes, Dave...I am still managing to sleep--and yes my entire office knows my cruise countdown and they are pretty much sick and tired of hearing about it (but they can't say anything because I'm their boss!) I figure it will be as much of a vacation for them as it is for me!

zmanmj If the seal isn't raised, but it is still a seal and not a photocopy, you should be OK. Does the certificate say that it is a "certified copy"? All my kids have raised seal certificates.

I think we should break ties on who can "properly" do the dance steps to the Electric slide, Cha-Cha slide, and the "Hey Baby" song at the Embarkation party! Lord knows my DH would be paying for everyone's drinks!

Have a great weekend--off to baseball game #2 for the weekend, then an afternoon on the ski boat, and a round of golf tomorrow morning--then maybe some early cruise packing???

OK, I'll admit it........I'm having a hard time working! I hope there aren't any of my "parents" lurking on this board!

But, Hey.............only 13 and a 1/2 days of school are left. If they don't know it by now...........they never will.......Right? HAHAHA!
Just kidding. We're still learning. Next week we'll learn about insects, and why spiders can't be classified as an insect.

Doing a little house cleaning today. Waiting on my new washer and dryer. That way...when I come home from the cruise, I'll be done with my laundry in no time......I hope!

Mickeylover.....sounds like you have a full weekend. Are you just taking the boat out or are you also skiing? The gulf temp is about 78 so we were going to take the waverunner out today but we had to stay around waiting for washer and dryer delivery.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL THE MOMS. I hope it is a "Magical" day for you.

DH and DS both got in the water--its still squeal temperature for me so I'll hold off a little longer.

DS kneeboards and DH can still wakeboard without killing himself. Water temps up here are still in the high 60s--we were laughing at some young gun on a wakeboard fully decked out in his wetsuit this afternoon.

We used to put our jetskis in the water during January and wear full wetsuits, but that's back when we were young and crazy--now we're older!

Enjoy your new washer and dryer! PLEASE don't tell me that's tchrmom's Mother's Day Present??? (Mine are due to be replaced as they are older than my marriage, but I'll put it off until they totally fall apart on me in all likelyhood!)

Happy Mother's Day to all of you Disney Moms out their. I hope you can have a nice relaxing day.

Also, as far as the tie goes, I called DCL and they told me, according to the DCL manual, paragraph 467, section B, line 4, in the event of a three way tie for last to receive documents and at least 14 days has transpired since the first cruiser has received theirs, the obligation to buy drinks reverts back to the person, or persons who receive their documents first. I just hate legal jargon, but what are you going to do?

I hope everyone is ready. We will be getting out our suitcases tonight.

You must not have read the "clause" at the bottom of the page, indicating that if indeed, the first receipt of fore mentioned documents, resides in the same state as the departing port, the burden of "first round" falls directly onto the cruiser who travels the farthest. Look it up if you don't believe me.

So let's see..........................that means, I think Desert Disney buys. I'll take a Yellow Bird....unless there is another cruiser who I've over looked.

Well, I think the party of the first part (that'd be SimbaNoodle--who has GOT to have gotten the Walt Disney Suite as long as its taking to get his docs) and the party of the second part (that'd be XLT800 and tchrmom) and while we're at it--the party of the third part (poor Desert Disney) should all buy the party of the fourth part--that be me--a drink immediately upon embarkation so as to enhance my dancing ability--

In exchange, the party of the fourth part (me again) would be happy to share a nice bottle of red wine at dinner!
