May 29, 2004---Who is with us?

Paul.....not sure about Flhmom.......she has not returned call yet.

Mickeylover......glad that you do not have to bag any excursions.

Dave

:bounce: Got message on answer machine yesterday from tchrmom that their docs had arrived. Since I had been out all afternoon and evening, I checked the front porch and mine had arrived too! It is getting close, isn't it. Anne

:jumping1:

Now that our docs are here, I can stop watching for Mr. UPS!

Now, I guess I can start packing.:hyper:

Do you think it's too early to drag out the big suitcase????

zmanmj,
If you look in the signature section of your profile, you will see that you have '05/28/2004 1:00:00 AM CST' as the date on your counter. Change this to '05/29/2004 5:00:00PM EDT' for the ship departure time or any other time you want.

OK, so maybe I'm not living in the sticks as much as I thought, my buddy Donald from UPS just brought my cruise docs to the office! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Debbie,
Did you get the docs for your whole crew or are they all separate ressies?

Still no docs for us. DW was working from home today and was disappointed twice as first the UPS van and then the FedEx van both drove by without stopping!

Paul

We're still waiting for our docs.:(

Fran, you asked if it's too early to get the big suitcase out?

Are you kidding?

DH went on business trip last week and he just left it out once he unpacked it.

I mean, it's not as if we're too eager for this trip, or anything like that.:earsgirl: :earsgirl:

OK, Mickeyhugger......

I'll take your advice!

(tchrmom drags out big suitcase from closet)
WHEW!
That was heavy.

Time to pack!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Paul, my Mom and Dad live in Raleigh, but drove up to their house on the lake yesterday mid-day, so they don't know if they have docs yet or not. My uncle and aunt live in Charlotte--no word on theirs either.

Hey Paul,

I was at your spreadsheet this morning and noticed that you had me down for two daughters. I don't think I could handle that. The seven year old is all boy.

No sign of Doc's yet.

Thanks.

Hi Lewis,
Sorry about that. It looks like I got the html version correct, but had a typo in the spreadsheet. It's fixed now.

Paul

OK OK I get it. The person who lives the farthest way from Florida gets their doc last right? That would be me.

No UPS person for me either. I think I will go clean my hand and face print from the screen door. This waiting is driving me crazy. Or maybe I will go shopping for clothes for the cruise to take my mind off my doc?
:jester: :earsgirl: princess:

Spreadsheet update:
NYdiscuisers, we are staying at the Renaissance Orlando Hotel Airport the night before the cruise.

So the rest of you are impatient waiting for you docs too, huh? I left our house this a.m. to run errands, and saw the FedEx van driving up the street parallel to ours. I pulled over and stopped when I saw him stop too. 'Must be reading a map,' I thought. No, he actually had the nerve to get out and take a package to the house in front of him! 'How dare he deliver OUR Disney docs to another house," I thought.

Okay, I guess I'm getting crazy here:crazy: waiting for the cruise. I was so sure he was going to continue on to our house, but he then left the neighborhood.:(

OK, the North Carolina update. My Uncle and Aunt got their docs yesterday (they live in Charlotte)...Mom and Dad don't have theirs yet as far as they know.

May Brown be there for all of you Monday morning!!!::yes::

Six more weeks from today, at this time, I'll be ordering my dessert at Lumiere's!!! :bounce: :bounce:

Debbie

You guys are too funny........I can laugh because I have mine!!

Dw and I were just saying that we act like the quicker we receive our doc's the quicker we leave. I think they are just a license to start packing.

May Brown reach everyone on Monday!!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Dave

Oh yeah! I can start packing! (I was lying in bed this morning thinking about what I needed to pack in my cruise-survival medical kit) Anyone have a good hangover remedy?
;)

The weather right now makes me long for the cruise as much or more as when it was cold. It was 82 here yesterday--played a round of golf with DH and went to sleep with the sliding door to the deck open. Of course that means I was awakened at 6:30 when all the birds started singing--and after the Canada Goose's car alarm went off, I got up out of bed, made some coffee and here I am!

Six weeks from today on the Magic--Day at Sea, Formal night, and likely I will not be awakened by the car alarm of a Canada Goose! (honnnkk!! honnkkk! honnkkk!)

Have a good one all!

Ahhhhhh...................
six weeks from today, I'll be lounging on a deck chair, maybe applying my 2nd coat of sunscreen!

Do you think it is too early in the day to order the "drink of the day"?
Fran

There was a list of things I wanted to accomplish this weekend. Needless to say there is still a clogged sink in the house and no flowers were planted. However...our flights are booked as well as our hotel for the night before. Priorities, priorities. ::yes::

Just have to figure out the excursions, find a good book to take and how much wine to take with us! That is not as nearly as stressful as booking flights!

Have a good week everyone.

Well, I got a great deal on a formal dress this weekend and we all manage to get a few summer/cruise clothes. My DH and I managed to get the suitcase down and began throwing stuff in it. My DD already had her suitcase down and packed one month ago.

I would like to bring a few bottles of wine. Do you carry them in your carry-on? What about wine glasses?

I told my DH that I should stay home from work on Monday to wait for my Doc's. I think that is a good excuse. Don't you? LOL

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

chairee0, I went formal dress shopping too this weekend. (Actually, I went to exchange one I'd previously bought.) I think I'm driving DH nuts. I saw one I liked better, and, well..

As far as wine, other posts have stated that it's preferred to be brought in your carry-ons. (We're bringing our own sodas and beer.) I'd thought about a soft-sided cooler, but don't think they're allowed?

Well, everyone, we can now say it's less than six weeks away!:sunny:
