I was just reading about this on Pinterest and thought it looked fun. My husband and I are going on our first Disney Cruise on May 26th with our 7.5 year old twin boys. This sounds like a lot of fun, hope we haven't missed out. Promise we would be a good addition! We are on the 7th floor.

Welcome! This is our first cruise too. Yes, the FE has closed, but I'm thinking there are probably several others who might also come in after and could start a new one or a new group...just a thought.

I'm a single parent traveling with 1 child (Matthew, 7). Are any one child families out there? I'm sure Matthew will meet tons of new friends on the cruise, but it would be nice if he could get to know someone before we go or if we could meet up and introduce the kids and let them go to the kids club together. Also if you are a solo parent, maybe we can meet (always nice to have someone watch items while going to the restroom or the bar).
This is our first trip without other family members or friends, but that's not stopping us!

I'm Veronica. I'm a single mom also and I'll be traveling with my daughter Daijah. My daughter is a bit older than your son, she turns 11 the day before we cruise. So I think they'll be in different kids clubs. But maybe we could meet up sometime for a drink or something. We also usually travel with family and friends so this is our first solo trip, testing out the waters but I think it'll be fun.

Ok, this is probably a silly question, but I'm participating in the FE exchange. I have our FE, however I'm wondering if I need to bring something to attach it to the door. Is there a special hook there or do I need to bring something myself? If I need to bring something myself or is there something you would suggest that I bring? I read something saying that Disney will charge for damage if anything is attached to the door other than magnetic items. Does this apply to the FE?

I would love to meet up to do grown up stuff while the kids are at the club. I'm not sure how we could find each other on the ship. Any suggestions?
