What's up with the on-line check-in not having Barcelona as a departure or arrival city/airport?!

~Mike

Unless you're using Disney transfers, just put anything in. I did my roundtrip information from my home airport to JFK and back. If you really want it to say BCN, you'll have to call Disney. If you are leaving first thing Wed. morning (the 6th) you should do that because they will allow the passengers flying out the earliest to get off first.

BTW....talked with DCL, if you have completed the 3 steps to online registration, you DO NOT need to fill out the cruise doc packet they sent you.

Next Saturday at this time I be_______________________________________

On Deck 9 waiting for the cruise of a lifetime to begin! time.     :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :cool1: :cool1:

:thumbsup2

You didn't miss it. I don't drink. The not so virgin club comes from the fact that I have 4 kids.....unless.....dum dum dum....it was immaculate conception.

And as far as: The initiation is quite grueling but we can forgo it just for you! :) It involved jell-o, a monkey and a tight rope... but as I said... we will skip it. :lmao: :lmao
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I say.."You kinky little girl!" OMG Too Funny! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Okay OKay I admit it...wait NO I DONT... okay maybe a little.

Today we watched a Curious George episode for the bazillionth time... George learned how to be "balanced" and walked on a tightrope... hence a monkey on a tight rope... the jell-o well.... that is a pregnancy craving! :)

I don't have pregnancy brain I apparently have toddler brain! *sigh*

In other news... 7 more night-nights til the ship.... but only 4 night-nights til we leave for barcelona (yes we count in night-nights for our son! it is a good frame of reference for him)

One day closer to cruising!!!! :dance3:

Good morning everyone. Let's see...

TWO days until I leave for Barcelona and.....

6 DAYS until we board the Magic in the Med! :yay: :cheer2: :yay:

Sue

Five days before I see Christina

Good morning everyone!!

What Scooby said is correct, except DCL does have a cutoff for online check in. For most cruises it is 30 days prior. You might still have to fill out the paperwork.

Celeste,

Ok, got the ingredients. 1 to 1 salt and tumeric. mix with just enough water to make a thick paste. About the consistency of a thick pancake batter. Slather it on and wrap it up. Now, do remember, tumeric is a very goldenrod color and it is permanent. Use lots of gauze, old, unwanted tshirts or wrap it in anything thay you don't mind turning BRIGHT golden. watch out for the sheets, too. It'll ruin them also. You can use this 24/7, but when it dries out, that's when the real mess starts....very powdery. She also gave me another packet of something that her mom gave her from India. it is again mixed with water and slathered on. The only thing that Rita said is beware! IT STINKS!!
She even asked her mom if it had cow dung in it!!!:lmao: Funny thing, tho, Chandra didn't answer her. Just don't mix with hot water....it reeks.
One other suggestion if you want the heat to go to the site, my old Vietnamese manicurist....I can't find her anymore...poofpixiedust: ...gone, had me try aomething when my chronic tendonitis in my wrist and thumb (DeQuervaine's disease..so not fatal) reared its ugly might. Shave some fresh ginger..or grate it, wrap that all around what ails you and shake salt, enough to coat it, and then wrap saran wrap around it. BEWARE...it gets REALLY :furious: hot. :scared1: Sure took care of the tendonitis super fast. Now, there is your international naturopathic remedies at their best!!!
Best of luck.
Mari
Good morning to all. Here is to another day of packing and anticipation.

Mermarmay and Celeste - Please keep us posted on the "international remedies. I hope it works.

Jeisur - Good luck with the tree. We just spent a bazillion dollars taking one down. Our Homeowners Insurance did a hazard analysis and wanted it either trimmed or removed. Because this is Florida and Homeowner's Insurance EXPENSIVE and the tree was pretty old we decided to remove it rather than risk a potential claim. Pretty interesting to watch though.

One more question for those with kids. Is there a charge each time your child visits the kids club area? I thought I read there was a charge for babies, but I didn't know about the 5 year old set. Thanks

OK I know thisis last minutes and we all have lists coming out of nowhere HOWEVER ....

for those of us that will be in Barcelona early has anyone thought of being at the pier to WELCOME the Magic to Barcelona when she arrives? I never gave it a thought until I just watched the arrival at Tennerife

(copied from an email I received from Veranda Man -thanks Andy and I don't know where he got it from but he said he copied it over to the email - I want to give credit where credit is due not steal someone's efforts. Here is what Andy sent me)

watch the Magic arrive into Tenerife via webcam. I've loaded the video onto youtube
the URL is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SG6UUWtsNa0

She sure is beautiful. Anyone know what time she arrives in Barcelona?

Sandy

The charge is for Flounders (children not potty trained and/or under 3) and it is charged by the hour. The regular children's clubs are part of the fare. At 5 you will have no additional expenses for his trips to the kids club area.

Thank you Sandy, the link does work, I just did not read down far enough..;)

4 more days!!:cool1:
Todays agenda: More :laundy: , more packing (insert packing smiley here)
and a girl scout leader appreciation luncheon!
Any girl scouts or former girl scouts out there?

Coalchick- The kids clubs are great! Sometimes I wish I could do some of their activities!! Basketball/Sports time with Goofy, climbing in the Neverland Treehouse, etc!:wizard:

Lori and Lori- I think the initiation sounds fun- jello and a monkey? Bring it on!

Is anyone else bringing their Disney pins to trade/show? I'm bringing a limited number. Lauren and I are just bringing our lanyards, but not our book.
How anyone heard if there will be special pins or themed pins for this trip?

Rita:hippie:

Rita,

Former Girl Scout here!

I am bringing pins, but not for trading :teeth: I imaging Disney will have special pins for this sailing or at least for the Mediterranean sailings if not ours specifically.

At pin trading nite at the Contemporary they previewed the open stock map pin set, the LE jumbo pin and the LE logo pin. I liked the map pin set and I'm glad it's open stock. I am bringing a few pins for the kids to trade in the books and the lobby(with the cruise staff). I'm also bringing just a few pins to trade/wear. I'm not bringing my books since I don't think there will be much time for trading(too many other things I wouldn't want to miss out on).

No charge, but you'll want to get them registered as soon as you can. They can fill up, and only take a certain number of kids. We pre-registered our kids online. Did you see that you can do that? You still have to go and sign them in though. But, at least your place is held.

I just filled my info out a day or two ago. However, if you're concerned, you might call them. I think it's easier to do it online, especially if it saves me from having to carry those books around and filling 6 of them out.

I just checked and the cutoff is 3 days prior. That is also the deadline for making changing to excursions, Palo, the spa etc.

Got any remedies for Burns - I just burnt myself 2x iorning. Once on the hand and once on the bicep.

Any girl scouts or former girl scouts out there?

Former Brownie & Girl Scout here...

7 days from now we will all be enjoying a day at Sea. :)

I got the "Blue Screen of Death" on Friday on my home computer... So Friday night and today I have been backing everything up. The purchased iTunes and music I got from friends is taking a long time. I have 18 CD's and counting.

I worked for 7 hours yesterday. Just trying to dot the i's and cross the t's. I hope my 3 days left of work are peaceful. BTW my desk has not looked so clean since we moved into our new office space back in January 2006. :woohoo:

I am finishing packing today, I hope and cleaning the house. I have to have everything done by 3 pm (that is in 5 hours), because then I am going to shower and go get my Mani/Pedi and massage. I don't want to have anything to do after those so I don't ruin the Mani and get stressed.

Safe Travels for all of you heading out early. Is anyone else on Delta flight #94 on Thursday, 5/24 or staying at Hesperia Presidente Hotel?

4 days till vacation
3 work days till vacation
