Just wanted to say a quick hello...

My trip home has been delayed by two days, so I will be in Florida until Tuesday afternoon. (Does anyone know when Scott & Lynn arrive)

Ken- awesome to hear about your son. I actually like watching VB- it's really cool. It was also a sport I was interested in when I was yonger- but not very good at.

T- sent you some emails.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and will have a great week!

Have a question for everyone? On our last cruise we dressed up on pirate night and it really made the night more fun for us. With so much on my packing list, I am trying hard to consolidate. The kids are bringing pirates 3 t-shirts since the movie is coming out that weekend. Can we just wear pirate t-shirts and jeans to dinner or I am going to be frowned upon? Just finding ways to cut down and with 5 people cutting back on pirates clothes would be great. But I still want to be in the spirit of the pirate night.
:grouphug: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

We are ditching the pirates costumes for this trip. They take up too much room! At least with a T-shirt you can wear it on another day too.

The exchange currently is $1.36 for €1, respecitvely €.74 for $1. :scared1:

Would print out the Guest list.
Some folks will have fish extenders.
I would leave, some sort of who they are from...
so you can be thanked later.. :)

Exchange rate has been steadily going up and up and up. By the time we leave for the cruise, the European part of the trip is going to cost 50% more than I projected just because the exchange rate has changed. It was $1.15 when I first did my budget! I finally put an exchange rate field in my Excel spreadsheet for the budget. It keeps changing my bottom line. YUCK!

Good morning everyone - another day closer to the First Med Cruise!!!!

Very excited, my fish extender arrived today! :woohoo: Now that I know about them, I will be creative and make mine next time, but for now...Ebay works for me. :goodvibes
On another note, this is interesting about a volcano in Italy that has erupted 3 times in 22 days!!!! First link is a video of the eruption, second link is a map of Mount Etna's location.

I don't recall seeing this on the packing list (I am probably mistaken):

One (two is spouse can't share!) small indiglo-type battery powered alarm clock. There are no digital clocks in the rooms and VERY few outlets to plug one in. I got a clock at Target for $6 that you press a button on top and the display lights up. VERY handy for the darkness of night, since the rooms get REALLY dark at night. Ours has an alarm setting too, I covered the speaker with electircal tape to muffle the alarm and not wake the kiddo. Since wake-up calls are LOUD after a long night! :) The light was also enought to safely get me to the potty... I took my mini flashlight for trips back! :)

You don't want to miss din-din, bingo or towel animals because you forget to look at your watch! :rotfl:

We're not having a first day DIS meet???

We should, maybe everyone who will be onboard can meet during the sailaway party.

I think we should meet:grouphug: at 3:30pm on deck 10 -midship, Dockside... We could meet up distribute any info or lists, etc. Does that sound good to anyone else? :confused3

We will probably be somewhere in Barcelona all afternoon. If we are around the ship, I will be there with the lanyards. But don't depend on it. I will still have the lanyards at the Wine party on the first sea day.

Great idea! I'm going to add it to my packing list so I don't forget. Wtih the time change I just might not wake up early enough for some of the excursions!

If I am on the ship I will try to make it... If the jetlag has gotten to me then I will most likely be on the ship, if not I plan to be exploring Barcelona. :)

17 days until I leave and only 13 days of work left! :yay:

Tell us the measurements, pretty please. I have the material, I'm just waiting to figure out how to make it.

Thanks!
