We are flying out from Orange Country, CA 4 weeks from today! I am SOOOO excited! Quick question: I am a main dining lover and have main dining for this cruise. how will this work in regards to the boat drill, etc? Also, If we are all meeting after the boat drill I don't think most main seating diners will be able to make it. i want to be involved as possible with the group, so maybe we could plan to meet for the sailaway party. I am not trying to throw a wrench in anyone's plans...I am just tossing out ideas!

Also, where can one purchase magnetic paper?? I am hoping Home Depot carries them so I can pick up the Mickey Head paint samples at the same time! Also, how do you print them out with the designs on them? I am ready to start making my sign!

Sweetsue; I did already go to Australia and it was amazing.....I just wish we had more time. I definitely plan on going back there for a longer trip sometime down the road. This time we only saw Sydney so *I plan on seeing Brisbane, Melbourne, and even possibly New Zealand on the next trip. I got hit with jet lag pretty hard coming home, though! The next day at work was TOUGH!!!

from Guest Services.

Guests are able to cash personal checks drawn from U.S. banks only up to
$100.00 per guest, per voyage onboard at the Guest Services desk.
Personal checks (no temporary checks) need to be accompanied by:

Valid Driver's License
State issued ID with picture

The Disney Credit Card
Diner's Club / Carte Blanche

Traveler's Checks can be cashed with a photo ID. There is no limit for
Traveler's Checks, but the checks need to be in US Dollars.

An onboard credit can be used to cover anything that is charged to the
stateroom account (i.e. gifts, merchandise, refreshments, etc.) and is
placed on the stateroom folio. Guests receive an enclosure card in
their stateroom that notifies them about the onboard credit, who
arranged it, and any special message.

To purchase an Onboard Credit, please call 800-601-8455 Monday - Friday
8:00 AM - 10:00 PM (EST) or Saturday - Sunday 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM (EST).

Guests can exchange dollars for Euros or Euros for dollars onboard the
ship at Guest Services. It will be exchanged at the prevailing rate,
there will not be a charge for the exchange.

You can only get Routers at home depot...

Get the router to carve a sign out of wood. Then using string (not tape or glue), hang the sign from the fish. Who needs magnetic door signs.

We did 5 weeks over there. It was awesome! We went to Melbourne, Adelaide, Alice Springs, Ayers Rock, Darwin. Then we flew to Cairns and drove from Cairns all the way to Sydney. Fantastic country and fantastic people. It's also where I picked up the "No Worries" phrase. I just love that phrase (in case you couldn't tell).

Hey all,
Just thought I'd check in quickly....
I'm getting ready to go to the airport and I thought I'd check in and see if anyone needed anything from the Mouse???

Packing for my short trip turned out to be a bigger deal than I had thought....I'm going to be giving Andy and Char my scuba gear and some stuff stuck in a suit case. So, I'm weighing my suitcases and making lists of what I have stuck in there so I don't forget.


I'm also going to have a chance to see Sue & Christina while I'm down there.

I can't believe how busy you all have been today. I feel like I have WORK to do to catch up!!!! I just chatted on the phone to my mother for TWO HOURS while driving back from Port St. Lucie. We are an excited bunch! We leave in just 3.5 weeks!

FAQs have been updated with all of Lori's great info on currency exchange on DCL.

I wonder if we can ask them what their "going rate" is today? Is it "MSN exchange + 27%"?
