My wife Erika and I and our 4 year old Eli are going on the repo and 1st Med cruise. This will be our first Disney cruise and we are excited. How do we sign up to be part of the group.

Welcome!!! Check out the first post on page 55. It has all the information on the various activities and, most important, how to get lanyards. I also have FAQs on page 1, post 15. You won't be able to PM people yet (not enough posts), so you can just post here for anything you are interested in doing.

we have never been to a toga party. How do you dress? Also we can't PM yet so can you help us out. The three of us are Alan,Erika and Eli(4)
By the way what is fish mail?What does PM stand for? Can you tell how new we are?

Togas are usually fashoned out of bedsheets - we have a toga Master among us if I remember correctly

PM - a private message - one that only that person can read.

Fish Mail - right outside your door is a "fish" that hold mail for your cabin.

ANd don't worry - we were all new once too.

Here's the info I posted earlier:

First up is FRIDAY EVENING: Enjoy the light, water and music show of the Magic Fountain! Show begins at 8pm and runs every 30 minutes until midnight. Time for our meet is 8PM. We will meet at the base of the fountain near the steps to the Museu National d'Art Catalunya. To get there, go via Metro (or foot power) to Placa Espanya. Go through the tall columns following the small water fountains until you reach the big oval Magic Fountain. We'll meet on the far side closest to the steps. Look for wild and crazy DISer's speaking English (it's kind of hard to miss a DIS group).

Here is a picture of the fountain in fully glory. Here is an orientation picture from the steps at the Museu National d'Art Catalunya. The oval fountain at the bottom of the steps is the Magic Fountain. If you keep looking in the distance you will see two tall columns. Those mark the entrance at Placa Espanya.

I plan to join you (not sure if dad will as well) if I don't crash before then. I land at BCN on Friday at 7:35 am.

Boy have I got a story for you guys...

Kathy (Littleowensmommy) called tonight from their almost new home of Coronado. After a very busy week of trying to pull together their new home plans, moving and rushing around to make it all come together in a single week, Kathy took a big mistep and ended up breaking her ankle and a severe sprain on the other! She is currently in a wheel chair and trying to figure out how to get home and organize for the movers to come next week. As if it wasn't enough to be moving across country, DH changing jobs, kids leaving school early, selling and buying homes and being homeless in between the movers and the cruise beginning! OY She promptly told the doctors that she had to be able to get on this cruise in 4 weeks and that was that! They are hoping that she will be on a cane by then and the sprain will be well enough to walk. Needless to say she will not be on top of the tables flamenco dancing in Cadiz Anyway she asked me to post what was happening and said she should be able to get online in a couple of days to say hi. Some pixy dust would be good about now.

Kathy (Littleowensmommy) - Best wishes to getting healed quickly. I had a friends mother in a wheel chair in Disney Word years back after doing something similar.

When I last checked you were in a room diagonally across the hall from my father and I. If you are having a hard time getting around please do not hesitate to ask for help. My dad is up at the crack of dawn and always hitting the beverage station and getting some breakfast snacks and would be more than willing to grab some extras of anything.

I just got in from shopping for the cruise. At least that is the excuse I am using. Wow lots has happened since Friday on here.

Let's see. I got 2 new pair of shoes - now to break them in and a sarong (sp?) - wrap to cover my legs for those church visits. I also picked up some of the lotion that has built in tanner. We will see if it works and if I don't turn orange. I remember when the self tanning stuff first came out - yikes - not pretty. Also ordered my contacts. Did some window shopping for shorts and tops... I am waiting till closer to the cruise as I am trying to lose 10 lbs for the cruise. Phew that was exhausting. Oh and BTW - I chopped of 10" of hair the other week too. Figured less hair would be better for the trip.

I can't believe how close the trip is getting. It seems like only a few months ago I just booked it but it is actually almost a year ago. I am getting very excited.

There are a few people on the list like Ron (LegalBriefs - the host of the party) and Celeste (icunurse_celeste) that know how to tie togas. I'm also toga challenged and will be looking for help.

Hope to see you there! At least 8pm our time is early afternoon so it shouldn't be too bad. I'm also thankful that they don't start eating dinner in Barcelona until 9pm. It'll make the jet lag not as bad.

Just finished getting anything off the Cella floor that may get Wet!!!

forecasting 3 to 5 inches of rain!!!
and some of it will be in our Basement!!!!

The Marathoners on Monday, will not have a pleasant Run!!!

I asked when we bought the house 5 years ago if it got any water..
The anwser was No... lol Disclosure sheet also said No!!!

Will go out now and Add extensions to down spouts!

will take water 10 feet further from the house!!!


Basement is finished, but we had to haul the Carpet out last April!!!!

With just Jenn and I we dont use it much, except to do laundry..
the other family had 3 kids, so the play room came in handy!

Pump & shop vac are readyed.

suck water up with vac - drop in pump and down the Drain it goes...

DINING

What night will be our first "assigned" rotation night? The 26th or the 27th?
Saturday the 26th.
What are the theme nights on the cruise? And what days are
they?
When are the formal night(s)?
There are rumors that Disney will change the dining. Why wouldn't we have rotational dining with the same servers?
DCL will be having rotational dining. Seating times are 6pm and 8:30pm.
There will be one formal night, two semi-formal nights and a pirate night. The formal night is the first sea night. The semi-formal nights are the remaining sea nights. General agents do not yet have the dining rotation. When/if the information becomes readily available, I will post it here.

This is all we know so far!!
