I bought some last night at Target, but i haven't opened them yet. I don't know if I can keep them until next summer though - lol.

They are white chocolate (isn't the ship the Black Pearl - so I guess these are 'pearls' too) I'm thinking that they are a very limited edition for this summer's Pirate's of the Caribbean movie.

Im off to the races.... Santa Barbara Rig Run on Saturday morning.
First time for us to race in the ocean... boy that's going to be different!

Well, I've searched the entire new pirate store looking for some fun pirate stuff for pirate night - which I guess will be the pirates in the mediterranean! They are overhauling New Orleans Square at DL. The new pirate store is where the old Christmas store was located by club 33. Found a few fun items, but when the Pirates ride reopens there will be all kinds of new stuff... of course, it may all be with Johnny Depp's face on it! ARRRGGG

Hi everyone

My son was playing in an AVP volleyball tournament in Santa Barbara on Saturday morning. I saw the canoes on the east end of the beach. Unfortunately, the volleyball tournament was on the west end so I didn't get a chance to watch the canoes at all.

It just hit me that one year from today we will all be doing our last minute packing and heading out to start our Med adventure

Well Im back in one wet piece The races were great.
Us girls were in the second heat. As a bunch of desert rats we've never taken a canoe to the ocean.
What a rush when you run with a 40' boat... jump in and hope you don't huli(flip it over).
Our race was short only 5 miles and came in 6th out of 22 .Not too shabby for a bunch of ladies with the youngest being 35 and the oldest 52!
The next exciting trip... bringing the boat in thru the surf! Never did that before either! Talk about an E Ticket Ride! I'd go back out just to ride the surf again!
The rain held off for us all day... what a way to spend a week end... the club ohana and the people and sport you love
I hope to have some pics soon.. still don't know how to post
We did get to see where the vollyball was... we never got down there to watch.... possible for next trip!

Hi everyone. I have been working with Sweet Sue to set up a roster for this sailing (we're sailing together in September and Hygiene99 volunteered my computer services ) I just heard from Sue. She has been out of touch for a while and asked for updates on what's going on here and with our September cruise. I wanted to let you all know (with her permission of course) that she has been dealing with some health issues with her DD, Christina. Christina has been going through a lot of tests which will probably end up with spinal cord surgery for her this summer. She will also need to have eye surgery after that and possibly bladder surgery. This is a lot for anyone to go through, much less at 4 year old. This all came up pretty quick so needless to say, Sue has been absent from the boards. On top of all of this, work has been requiring many more hours than normal. She is still planning on the cruise in September. Let's all send Christina and Sue lots of

In the meantime, I offered to set up the roster and keep it updated (instead of just helping her) until she can get back to the boards so I'll be checking for new people for her.
