1 year ago today we had to get off the Disney Magic, but it was after a 2 week cruise So it was ok. We got to Go To Disneyland.

Although I've been somewhat nostalgic thinking about where I was last year on the reposition cruise these past two weeks, it's been great to think that next year at this time we'll be crusing the Med.

Is anyone planning to do any post-cruise travelling in Europe?

On Thursday, may 31, we'll be in Rome and if I recall correctly, the next day (Friday, June 1) is an At Sea day...

...which I'm sure we'll all need to rest up after touring Rome all day long!

Hi all, whew just got done browsing the thread. Looks like a great group. This will be my 3rd Disney Cruise.

Me - Johanna (30 - 31 on cruise) from San Francisco
Dad - Gary (60 - 61 on cruise) from Wilkes-Barre, PA

We are in a category 11 on the 6th floor (don't remember the number here at work). We have 8 pm dinning.

Oh well back to work. I hope to check in periodically to keep up to date with things. However, working on our Food and Wine vacation to WDW first. Looking forward to when the airlines open up our dates to book our flights.

We're also in category 11 on Deck 6 . I also am looking forward to when the airlines open up on our dates to book flights. Also hoping to rebook our hotel for the night before the cruise. There are 6 of us divided between 3 cat 11s so the only way we could book the hotel with Disney was to book 3 hotel rooms. We did that but we're hoping to book only 2 rooms on our own and cancel the rooms with Disney. Right now I can't tell if it is too early to book on the hotel site or if there really are no rooms available for that date for the hotel we want.

Also starting to research doing private tours - especially of Rome. I know that there are companies that will give private tours and you can supposedly see much more than you can with a tour arranged by the cruise line. I know that there are advantages and disadvantages arranging this type of tour. Is anyone else thinking they might want to explore this type of option?

We also have a Grand Marina reservation with DCL.
For Now .. Have been given one that will cost much less than that.
From another disboard member. And she says, she liked it there. on another visit.
