Count us in on this cruise. Just finished the Eastbound Panama Canal cruise in December and this will be our 5th cruise on DCL and our first cruise NOT on the Wonder. That FE participation list on our last cruise had 75 cabins with over 200 participants. It was broken up into several lists with some folks participating on all lists. We participated on one list only. We would like to do the same this time too. Here is our information:

Celebrations: None
Allergies: none
First Cruise on Disney: Nope. #5
Participate in FE: Yes!

OK, I know we don't have a consensus yet, or a volunteer to do the ordering, but let's at least get a count.

Who here would like a bracelet. I don't think they would be more than $2 each and would be in adult/youth sizes. Please respond with the number of each size and I'll put the count on the spreadsheet for whoever (whomever? I never get that right) voluntEARS!

I've done some searching and it looks like a few websites have buy 100 get 100 free so that would be our best bet. We should split it up 50 youth (50 free) 50 adults (50 free) so we'd end up with 100 each which with shipping, cost about $100. The problem would be knowing exactly how much to charge because we probably won't have 200 total so we'll have to get an approximate number and divide the difference. At this time, I can't commit to collecting for it. I've been having some health issues and I can only do so much with a plate that's already full!!

If we can get a voluntEAR we'd like 2 adult and 1 child. Thanks everyone!!

Is anyone going to WDW post cruise? DD and I will be there 10 days.... Trying to get all the loose ends tightened up and starting to think of ideas for FE. This will be the first FE we're participating in. It's going to be be here before we know it!

Last time we had a mysterious benefactor that sprung for all the bracelets. I never did find out who fronted the money for them. Considering the number of bracelets @ $1 - $2 each, that was quite a donation!

So what we need is a decision on the cruise name - I vote for "Fantasia Amigos!". Then we need to get a count, and someone to order and pay for them and then we can reimburse them onboard. OR we can prepay the person upfront via Paypal if that works for them. We had the cruise name on one side and the trip date on the other. Nice neon green so we could identify each other from quite a ways away.

Also, do we want the debossed (imprinted with name, but no color), or printed name with color? If printed with color, what color font? Black? So the front do we want (Fantasia Amigos) and the back (May 25, 2013)?

I'll be waiting to hear back from everyone, but don't want to wait too long before ordering.

I like the idea of a bright color so we can spot each other. Maybe lime green or yellow. Either style is fine with me but probably black writing if they are printed. I'd be worried that the print might come off if kids wear it in the pool though, so I'm more inclined to suggest debossed.

We are so excited, I have been so busy with all the "extra" fun stuff like the door magnets and all. We always do Disney World, so this is all so new. My DD is 7, I am glad I'm not alone on taking a trip just me and DD Thank goodness for the disboards or I would be completely lost!!

Your welcome........ I know I only posted yesterday, but I've only heard from a couple ppl. My idea is to get this done ASAP since I have lots of other things going on in my life and cruise day will be here before we know it.

Question for all...... I'm thinking we should only have one color bracelet so we can easily spot everyone, but what do you all think?

Two things... I asked my DS Brandon if he and his friend would like to participate in the FE and he said yes. 2nd I like the bracelet idea and would like to request 4 adult size an 1 child size. On our last cruise, one DISBoarder made up "badges" that could be put into your lanyard pouch with your DIS name on it and your real name. Was very cute but since your pouch was not always facing forward, it was hard to see it. The bracelet idea is very good improvement on that idea.

I like the idea of a badge also since its hard to put a face to a name. Especially when you correspond with a DISboard name and not your real name. When you hear someone's screen name, it's much easier to know who you are. I experienced that on my last cruise.

We participated on the Member Cruise on the Dream September 2011. It was so much fun for the kids. (Well...for me & my DH too)
I do like the idea of splitting up into smaller groups & would vote for the groups being split by area. My daughter & I spent a lot of time running all over the ship trying to deliver all our gifts.
Would it be one gift per cabin? Or per person? Multiple days or just one?

Yes, we are participating in the FE. We did it on the Dream last year and really enjoyed it! I've got the ideas and most of what I need so I'm excited to get them finished.

We are voting on how we'd like to split the list up, but you have total control of your gift(s). I know a lot of us are doing a cabin gift but you can chose to do per person if you'd like. Also, I'm pretty sure it's just a one time gift whenever you chose to give it, as it's too time consuming to go around the ship multiple days! John keeps the FE list updated so he'll add you!!
