May 25th, 2013 Fantasy Western!

Ok, I didn't get much help from the e-mail. I called and talked to someone this morning and she told me that yes they would do private tastings and I would have to book it that morning when I board the ship in one of the lounges on Deck 4 that was set up for that. I have no problem trying to do this for everyone who is interested.

I am going to ask them about doing a mixology tasting between 2-4pm(whatever is available) on Thur May 30th.

So far I think these people have said they wanted to do it. I am not sure on how many people per person? Can you please let me know what your number of people in your group would be if different? I could give everyone the info when I see everyone at the Dismeet on when I am able to book it.

Just 2 instead of 3 for me please, we have a 2 year old and not sure if she would stay in the nursery ;)

This may have been discussed previously, if so I apologize! We fly in on Friday and will need transport to the port. We did the one way car rental once, that was ok. Last year we used Tiffany Transports and it was a fairly good deal because we had a large group. This year it is just the 3 of us and $230 round trip seems a bit high. :confused3

What are others doing that are flying into MCO?

I just did a google search "mco to port canaveral shuttle" and got lots of hits. One was $25 one way or $40 round trip. BUT, didn't hit their site to see what they were like.

For those driving in, where do you park. I've used Country Inn & Suites shuttle when we stayed there, but it was crowded and getting back was a joke. Almost 45 minute wait for them to come to port. Best so far has been parking right at the port in the nice new garage, but a little expensive. We'll do that again this time, but has anyone tried the off site parking? I hear mixed reviews on their shuttle service.

DH and I are in for mixology. Sounds fun!

Thanks for arranging this!! It will be great, always my favorite tasting!!:cool1:

Ok, I think I have all the above on my list correctly. :thumbsup2

OK I have good news. I was able to talk to someone and get a private mixology tasting set for Thur May 30th at hopefully 2:00pm. I am waiting on confirmation. Can I get everyone to please PM me with the first and last names of each person going for your state room? I think I have all the state rooms figured out except for AKennedy & Traugottmom. You guys have 4 staterooms so could you also let me know which ones you guys are in?

Here is part of the e-mail I received:

We can definitely request for a private mixology on May 30th. It would be $15.00 per person, must have a minimum of 25. Each participant will be charged onboard account whether they show-up or not. (This can be pre-arranged prior to sail date)

Be aware once you sign up that you will need to show up or be charged unless you cancel ahead of time. And the best part is it is fairly cheap as well, :cool1: I am getting the list to her and told her I would try and have all the names for her by Monday. Hopefully I hear back from everyone by then. I can also update her whenver we have changes so we can still add people on to the list that want to come.

I am SO excited and can't wait for the next 3 weeks to fly by.

The FE list has been managed so well....We have awesome bracelets so everyone can identify the COOL:cool1: kids on the cruise...And now a private mixology party. :confused3

This is by far the B-E-S-T Dis group ever!!!:thumbsup2:worship:

We are doing a one-way car rental from MCO to PC and returning the car the morning of the cruise. Through Budget the cost is $60. On the way back we are doing the same and the cost is $43.

Last year we used Park Port Canaveral by Radisson. It was a little busy on the day embarkation, but there were a lot of ships leaving that day. Coming back we got right on the shuttle. It's very close, probably 5 minute drive.

If you make reservations online it's $50.64 with tax. We are using it again this year.
