May 24th-30th, busy??

Hi there,
My friend is bringing her son over to the USA for major surgery at the John Hopkins in Baltimore. Before they embark on the massive surgery they are taking him to Disneyland May 24th-30th. Just wondering if anyone knows how busy it will be at this time. Are there any big events on that may cause huge crowds? I am hoping it will be fairly quiet for them!! If anyone knows that would be great. Thanks so much.

Well, it's Memorial Day Weekend, with MD being on Monday. Meaning it's one of only two three-day weekends the majority of us get off from work. I've never been that time of year, but it's sure to be busy.

As long as they're prepared for the crowds I'm sure they'll gave a good time.

We have been at this time for the last three years and we are headed there again this year. I haven't thought it was bad crowd wise. Although I haven't been any other time of year for comparison.

Of course the weekend is busier than during the week, so make I would get the "must do's" out of the way ther first couple days, also the slow loading rides they would want to do, like the ones in FL (Peter Pan's Flight comes to mind). Since they are expecting some larger crowds, they can plan ahead for it and have a great time.
