It is great that everyone is getting their docs!!!!

I spoke with our pediatrician today about the Bonine/Dramamine Less Drowsy. She said my girls are too young to take it and she suggested Dramamine Liquid or Dramamine Junior. I will buy one of those but I am hoping they will not need to take anything.

We are also on Deck 6 in a Cat 11!!!

Yesterday my DD8's class was talking about what everyone is going to do on their summer vacation and her teacher mentioned that her family is going on the Disney cruise right after school gets out. Sure enough, we are on the SAME CRUISE!!! We had a good laugh about that. She has been a wonderful,caring teacher so I will have to buy her a drink or something! They are also on deck 6 in a Cat 11.

What a coincidence that many of us are on deck 6, cat. 11!!! That's too funny!!! I wouldn't mind a magical upgrade, either! I just know that I am excited regardless!!!

Hi everyone! I'm going to start a new thread so we can just list info like who is sailing, where you are from, when you are arriving in Port Canaveral, where you're staying Sat nite, etc. I know Tiggergranny has combined some of this info in one post, but I can't easily find it and I have now convinced my 15 yr old boy/girl twins that it's ok for them to e-mail other cruisers. (forever I have told them not to e-mail people they meet on the net! but hey, this is Disney and we're all in the same boat)

We'll still keep "talking" on this thread and use other one just for the basics So look for the May 23 Roster and add your info!

seastar-thanks for the info on the dramamine/bonine. I will look for the Jr. in the drug store but like you, hope I don't have to use anything. I want the kids to be awake and happy, not passed out! lol!! After all, we did plan this cruise for them, right? (yeah,right! )

I haven't had a chance to go through all the posts yet but wanted to add another 6 yr old girl- sounds like there will be quite a few!

THis will be our first cruise- me, DH, DD (6) and DS (4). We're on deck 6 in a cat 6.

I also have a DD6! We are all going to have such a great time! Please join us at 3pm on Sunday in the Promenade Lounge for a DIS meet.

I went to three different stores and could not find Dramamine Jr or Liquid. I did find the chewables. The Dramamine chewables are 50 mg pills and are safe for children. My doctor told me the Junior is a 50mg pill so this is what I am going to get. They were around $4.50 for 8 tablets. The package does warn about drowsiness.

Thanks to everyone's help, I have decided to skip the last day of school so we can do one day of parks on Saturday. I booked a room via Priceline and will be staying at the Sheraton Safari Hotel instead. (I've stayed there before - the kids love the pool). I'll have to update my other thread now. We'll be hitting the road 2 weeks from tomorrow. Woo Hoo!

firsttimemom-Welcome! I also have DD 6. We are meeting at 3pm on Deck 3-promenade lounge on day of embarkation so that the children can meet some new friends and recognize some familiar faces when they get into the clubs. Hope you can join us!

greytlady-I know you all will have fun at the parks Saturday and it will be well worth it!

Deweysgirl, we actually live in Parma, just about 5 blocks from Cleveland. I always say we are from Cleveland because I don't think that anyone will know where Parma is. Guess it really is a small world!

Thanks greytlady for your invite to this area. I've been reading the messages here for sometime now but have not replied until now.

I think this is the right descriptions of our groups. DD (31) DGS(12) DGS(5) and me DG (grandmother 56)

We will be staying in a studio at Ron Jons on Sat. I noticed that others will be staying there also. I'll need to reread all the posts to see if there's a meet scheduled there. We plan to arrive Sat by 1 pm or ASAP and head to the lazy river. Check in time is not until 4 pm but they said we could use the facilities when we arrive. I read that it and the slide both close at 5pm. Guess it will be the pools until 5 and then maybe the beach. It sounds like a wonderful place.

I stay so excited about the Cruise that I can think or talk of hardly anything else.

fesslerl...We are staying at Ron Jon's Saturday, also. Our approximate arrival time is also 1. We would like to get time in the slide and lazy river before it closes. This will also gives us time to "have fun" before our meet at Grill's. I think that Grill's is only a few miles from the Radisson.

gamom...I am also sooooo excited and try not to do the same with my husband! He's excited too, but not like me. He has come around and shows his excitement more since it's closer.
