May 23,2014 - 24 Hours of MK @ WDW

Has anyone had any cool character meets today? Around 7:30 this morning, I met Alice, the White Rabbit, and the Queen of Hearts together.

And for the PP, not sure about mine train. Just got back to park and waiting on my Plaza reservation.

The mine train was still open at 9:30 with a 60 minute wait.

Been here all day. I still have plenty of energy, but my feet are very unhappy. We are currently sitting in Frontierland waiting on the villains pre-parade.

How are the ride wait times? Leaving HS nnoe where the wait is zero so mot sure why we are coming....,, other than to check out tue craziness. Mine train still open? Never mind. Here now. Its a madhouse. Hoping lines are shorter when 1pm parade starts. And mine train is open and ling lines like everything. Now I know why HS was so reasonable today.

Thanks for the meet and greet it was awesome. Hope everyone had a great time see ya'll next time!

Anyone else have any reports? I'd love to hear.

Here is ours:

We didn't trust the buses so we took our car. We were a bit late leaving the room so we were actually on the monorail when the opening show was happening. I'm totally counting that as being in the MK 24 hours. Monorail counts.

There were 4 of us and I was dressed as Donald (in his yellow tights if anyone saw me), my BF (not dressed as anything), his sister (dressed as Mickey) and his mom (dressed as Minnie).

Anyway, we were about 10 minutes late to the party. When we got inside the park there were still quite a few people milling around. Donald (my fav) in his PJs was out front, but he was just doing a media event.

It had been our plan to head right to Mine Train, main street was moderately busy with everyone wanting pictures.

When we got to Mine Train it was open and the line was back to Storybook Circus. The wait time said 120 minutes, and we figured it wouldn't get any shorter so we got in line.

It actually only ended up taking 45 minutes, so sweet!

There are 2 games in the queue, one is kind of like a matching game on computer screens, the other is very sweet. You run your hands overtop a mine cart with gems and colored water comes down and it plays music.

Anyway, Brian and I asked to wait for the front and we only had to wait one train.

My thoughts on the Mine Train:

we couldn't feel rocking motion at all. I did hear you could feel it better in the back. I thought the seats might be tight for some people. There is a wooden ledge between the 2 riders, and not a ton of space for the butt to go.

Other than that, this is the smoothest coaster I have ever been on. The outside portions were ok, but the inside with the animatronics is where it really shined. I especially liked the dancing in the cottage.

After that we went on a few short ride lines, Space (I'm glad we did because it seemed to be down for a majority of the rest of the day). I feel like we did other stuff but I can't remember too well now, will have to look at my pics later.

Cosmic Ray's opened at 930 so we had some food there (it was just the regular lunch items).

Then we went to see circus Donald so he could see my costume. First we saw Goofy, he looked at all our costumes and was disappointed to see no one was dressed like him. Brian then said sorry that nobody liked him (not meant like that, but it came out mean lol) and he want and sat down by the curtain and hid. Poor Goofy :( We finally got him up and he came over to take a pic and put his head down. Poor guy, I
hope someone came to see him dressed like him.

Then we let Stephanie and Brian's mom see Donald first, and he was angry they were Mickey and Minnie so Stephanie pointed at me and he got super excited.

It was a great interaction, he loved my costume. After that we walked onto Dumbo, and then I believe we wanted to go see what the chipmunks thought of my costume. It was getting pretty sunny and hot by this time so we had a hot and sweaty wait in the sun for about 15 minutes for the Chipmunks. They also loved the costume and messed with me by standing in front of me for the pic.

At this point Brian and his mom left for a nap and Stephanie and I got special Olaf cups and got a spot in Frontierland for the festival of fantasy parade (we got shady spots at 11 and the parade was at 12).

If you haven't seen the parade, see it, so awesome. The dragon even breathed fire right in front of us. I was sad to see some notable faces missing, there was no Aladdin and Jasmine for one.

We got spots in front of the castle for the 1 pm Move it Shake it with the villains. OMG it was awful. The pavement was burning hot but my feet were killing me since we'd already had a week in the parks. There was no shade in that area. So after our sweltering, miserable parade experience...

it was time to begin our 'we must endure the heat and sun if we are to make it 24 hours' tour.

First up was COP. Ahhh. Then TTA. Double ahhhh. Then we got ice cream and cupcakes and at at Cosmic Ray's. Then over to Philharmagic. Triple ahhh. Then over to HOP. super ahhhh. Then Country Bears. I love that show, so funny. Did I mention we walked onto all those shows? Awesome plan for the midday heat, if I do say so myself.

I'm not sure I remember the order of the next few things, but we waited 20 minutes for Merida and made some sweet new friends in line. Had a great interaction, she was wearing someone's sombrero then called me her sister (redhead). We met Tink with a 10 minute wait, and then I think we did a few other things with short waits but I forget :(

We watched the flag lowering ceremony, it was very touching and I like that WDW still does this stuff.

We rode IASW with a 10 minute wait, then Brian texted him and his mom were back for our 7 pm Crystal Palace ADR. I made it at this time cause I thought we'd need a big sit down break at this point and we totally did.

The characters were sweet but the food sucked, all I have to say about that.

Next we had our first FP for BTMR. We saw Wishes from the ride. Then we headed to the hub for the castle show and our Electric Light Parade FP. We were let in about an hour early and got front curb spots. We stayed seated (with the majority of the other front row people, some did stand) and saw the Villains pre parade. Oogie Boogie walked in the parade but wasn't meeting. Sometimes I don't understand Disney.

I believe at this time it was around 1030, so we went to camp our number one villain meet and greet, the Hercules characters. We found the line around 1045, we were already about 40-50 groups back. Yes, thats right, we were in line at 1045 for characters who wouldn't come out until 215.

Good thing we did. The line was massive and was queued in the storybook circus meeting area and it ended up getting closed before the characters even came out. We made some friends in line who worked at Universal and they said the Maleficent and Evil Queen line was about 2.5 hours.

CM managers came by and assured us they would make sure the line moved fast, no selfies no autographs. We were still nervous because Hades and Meg would switch off with Pain and Panic every half hour. Ugh, once again, Disney why do you do these things? Everyone wanted Hades and Meg. Either have two sets of the characters to meet constantly, or put Hades with Pain and Meg with Panic.

We were going to switch off waiting all night, but Brian's mom was in a scooter (she had a leg boot on from an injury) and by the time they made it to our FP with Mickey at Town Square Stephanie and I had no time to make it. Luckily Mickey wasn't meeting in PJs, just regular. Brian's mom left at this point and he came back and we all just waited.

So anyway, they came out about 15 minutes late. The line moved at a snail's pace. We were so sad cause we knew we wouldn't make this set of Meg and Hades. So finally they ended up leaving and Pain and Panic came out. They really lived up to their names. A couple groups were forced thru. We saw some Megs walking out of the meet and greet crying. Finally we all decided to swim together and people refused to move. The CM finally gave up and walked the line seeing if anyone wanted Pain and Panic. A few groups saved themselves hours in line and moved up. At the end of their set they were just standing there. Finally Meg and Hades came back out and we were about the tenth group to see them. We took pictures as a group because we wanted to let the most people have a chance to see them as possible. It was a great interaction. Brian now has a crush on Meg. She was so awesomely in character.

I'm afraid other guests in line were forced to do Pain and Panic or leave the line after us though, when we left there were about 10 managers and security waiting in front of the meet and greet. Disney really needs to fix things like this. First of all, why make the villains wait until 2 to come out? And then why only have one of each character?

We rode the TTA with no wait and got to see SM with the lights on since the ride was down.

There were many people in front of the Incredibles movie marathon just passed out asleep. I think this was around 330.

Anyway we made our way to Bowler Hat guy in Tomorrowland and only had to wait 15 minutes for him, he was sweet.

We tried to find Strombolli in Fantasyland but he was nowhere to be found (we forgot to look for Facilier and this makes me sad).

Next up we went to the castle dance party to find PJ Donald. He was dancing with a bunch of CMs around him. One of the CMs saw me coming and pointed me out to Donald. We shook our duck butts together for a few minutes and Brian took my pic. Daisy was there too but we didn't feel like trying to get to her.

Then we went to the Frontierland dance party with Chip and Dale and got a pic with them.

There were some CMs who weren't working the dance party but were nearby who were totally jamming out and having an awesome time. It definitely gave us a little infusion of energy. It seemed like most CMs who could hear the dance party musics were having an awesome time, some of the ones who weren't seemed a bit run down.

Next up we wanted to see how insane the JC CMs were so we walked onto that. Sadly, our skipper was pretty normal.

We walked onto the magic carpets then waited 5 minutes for Jafar.

Time was running out at this point. We wanted to try our Storytime with Belle but they cut off the line at about 10 til 6. So we took a consolation ride on the carousel and were walking thru the castle as it struck 6.

My closing thoughts (like that report wasn't long enough): If you are thinking of doing a 24 hour event in the future its soooo much fun and so doable. Just make sure to scheduled yourselves some breaks like a lunch and dinner sit down ADR. Maybe follow our air conditioned/sit down theater show afternoon schedule?

It really wasn't as packed as I though it would be. Of course, from 11 until 3 we were hidden back in the Hercules characters line so maybe we missed most of the crazy.

Anyone else have any good stories or pictures?!!? I would love to hear. :thumbsup2

Hello all,

Thanks to all that made it out to the 3am meet up. It was so nice to see finally meet everyone. We hope everyone was able to have a great time and able to rock their disney side.

We will be working on a bunch of trip reports and review in the coming weeks. Look out for them in the Trip Report section.

Here's my little trip report. I posted it in the adults & solos forum but will repost here as well. :)

I'm sorry I didn't get to meet y'all! I was long gone by 3am, sadly. Maybe next time! OhioStateBuckeye, I like your idea of grouping all the indoor attractions together. I should have done that. Instead, I suffered with heatstroke! Hahaha. :crazy2:

-----

If they did this event again next year, I would consider going again, but I would change around my strategy quite a bit. I'm sorry in advance for this long post!

I really liked the flexibility of having SO MUCH TIME! Since I'm a FL resident, I never do long stays at WDW. I will stay for 3 days at a time, generally, and do one park per day. My favorite park is MK and I always feel like I never have enough time to do the things I want to do, or I'm rushing around too much to enjoy the spirit of MK, which is big for me too. It also doesn't help that i typically visit during REALLY low crowd times, so the parks sometimes have shortened hours.

Having 24 hours to get everything done that I wanted to do was AWESOME, but ultimately, the sun was the killer for me, lol. I'm from Miami and am used to hot weather but I did not anticipate it would be 96 degrees in Orlando in May!

Here's what I did. I got there super early for RD, toured all my faves through standby for the first few hours. I don't like coasters of any kind when I'm solo, so I skipped those. I concentrated on my favorites, and on things I don't normally do. My first few hours consisted of: Haunted Mansion, Small World, Peter Pan, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, The PeopleMover, Carousel of Progress, Journey to the Little Mermaid, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean (FP+), Country Bear Jamboree (never done this one before!), Haunted Mansion (FP+), and Hall of Presidents. Stopped for snacks in between some of the attractions, of course! By this point it was noon, so I watched the Festival of Fantasy parade, and then had a lunch FP for BoG at 12:40pm.

I think because the mine train was open all day, plus the mad rodeo that is Anna & Elsa, traffic to most of the attractions down and I really didn't need to use my FP's at all. That was mistake number 1. Next time, I will save them for much later in the day.

I took a long lunch because I was hiding from the sun, and continued on my touring around 2:00. Lurked on Gaston (my favorite Disney hunk) for a bit but didn't take a photo. I was hoping he would be around in the evening but he was gone by the time I came back around 9.

I did Philharmagic, and did some shopping through the afternoon, then I hopped on the train (never done that before!) at Frontierland and took it to Main Street, left MK around 4:45pm.

Back at the hotel (pop), I intended to take a nap but I ended up just washing up and watching TV for a little bit. Then I beautified myself (bahahaha) and headed back to the park at 8:00pm. Mistake number 2 and here's why: I was driving so I could avoid bus crowds. Well, at 8:15 or whenever it was, MK parking was at capacity. So I had to drive to Epcot and park there. When we finally got to the TTC, CM's were yellin' at us to take the ferry, it's faster, blah blah, monorail is backed up. I had never taken the ferry and was up to try something new, so I trusted the CM's.

The Ferry, at 8:45PM when that water pageant with the lit up floats is happening, is NOT faster than the monorail, because the ferry has to wait for the floats to cross the lake. That took at least 25 minutes! I just wanted to be in the park.

Finally got inside the park by 9:15pm and things were very crowded, and roped off for night time entertainment. I wanted to go on more rides but there were long lines for everything, so I just wandered around for a while. I did have one more FP+ for Jungle Cruise, so I did that, and then tried to get an additional FP for HM (again, I love that ride!), but there wasn't one available until very late. I gave up.

By midnight, my eyes really started to hurt because of my contacts, and I stupidly didn't bring my glasses with me, so I decided to head out. I was upset, because I didn't really get to see any of the villains, which is why I came back in the evening. Next time, instead of coming back at 8, I'll skip that crowded mess and come around 1 or 2am

OVERALL I had a great time in the morning, and it was a lot of fun. The only things I didn't like in general were that even though the park was open at 6AM, there were a lot of places that weren't open. I heard about breakfast happening, but I didn't see breakfast anywhere at all. I was starving by 9AM (I'd been awake since 3:30am) so I finally just got a chocolate croissant at Gaston's tavern. I would have liked to see more happening in the morning.

I also wish there were more villains happening throughout the day, instead of the heroes during the day and the villains at night.

If the weather is a little bit cooler next year, I would 100% like to go again and put my new strategies into place.

.......

That's fine the post was long mine was too, thanks for sharing your report!

I forgot, we went to see Gaston too, Stephanie had printed out last year's pic with him because he complains if you bring autograph books (because they are books) but she figured he'd like a pic of himself and he did!

There were a ton of blue dress Belles to see him, and he gathered them all up and took a group photo of him and like 10 Belles.

I think the Mine Train and Anna and Elsa did suck up a lot of the crowds. I really feel like I didn't get a good feel for the crowds since we were back in the Hercules characters line forever.

I agree with your thoughts about the heroes and villains. First of all, I saw no new heroes at all, just the same ones you can meet everyday. They could have put princes out at the very least.

And why did the villains have to wait until 2? What a random, weird time.

I enjoyed reading about your day! I hope you do try again next year :goodvibes

Thanks for the trip reports. We were there too, enjoyed our morning and early afternoon as the crowds were quite manageable. Saw Hercules in the parade, and FoF. Returned at 2:00 after the kids got some sleep. Saw the wait times for Scary Tale Hall and Hades and Meg and quickly moved on. Waited 30 minutes for Bowler Hat Guy and made my daughters night. Saw Frollo, Stromboli and Big Bad Wolf. Enjoyed the party thought it was pretty well run, better run then Star Wars Weekend in my opinion. Hope Disney does more things with the Villians as it is obvious the demand is there.

We got to FW and checked-in at about 2:30 or so. We unloaded the car and unpacked the food totes into the cabin, and then we freshened-up a little. We all wanted to go exploring a little bit, but it was just way too hot! So, we ended up going to Trail's End for dinner at 5 - not impressed at all.

We finished eating and went back to the cabin to try and get a little rest. We figured the best plan was to try to hit the MK a little later, hoping it would cool off a bit! (Didn't happen! LOL) We took a quick nap and headed to the MK at around 8:30ish - it was still sweltering outside.

The lines at the entrance were very long, but they moved much more quickly than I'd anticipated - so that was good! The vibe - that was the best part, honestly. The air felt electrified, and it was easy to get swept-up in it! :goodvibes Main Street was jammed full of people, and we basically followed the MSEP down into Liberty Square.

We rode Haunted Mansion, TTA Peoplemover, BTMRR, Peter Pan - Space Mountain broke down just as we got into the numbered loading area. Shocker, there! LOL  We really wanted to ride SDMT, but the line was insanely long - we will ride it in August or earlier if we make a day trip before then.

We stopped at the dance party in Frontierland and had a little Mickey pretzel and churro snack - the energy gave us a little bit of a boost, but not enough for us to stay any longer. Half of us headed back to FW - it was about 3:00, I think? The other half of our party left about an hour later and got back to the cabin just before 5:00.

It was a lot of fun, and I would definitely do it again. I would just arrive the day BEFORE the event so I could hit the whole 24-hours a little differently. I think I'd arrive at rope drop and go until lunchtime... then go back to the resort for a swim and nap... and then go back around midnight or so until it closes! :)

We had a great time! Will be working on a trip report soon. Thank you to WDWGoofyDaddy for sharing that cab with us!!! We made it for the whole 24 hours... I was ready to give up by 2am but my son talked me into staying. I'm so thankful he did. It was a great birthday!

We were at the front of the crowd walking through MK with the CM's and when we turned the corner to see that the Mine Train was open, everyone started hooting and hollering... it was great! So exciting! We walked on immediately. The wait times were crazy for the rest of the day but at 4:45am we got back in line and it was only 30 minutes. It was the first and last ride for us. Best. Birthday. Ever.

Wanted to thank everyone that made it out to the 3am meet up during the Rock Your DisneySide party last weekend. I like to post a the group picture however don't know how to do it on this form.

Can someone help?

I finally have time to sit down and type our 24 Hour Trip Report! I have photos, but I have NO idea how to add them. I know this will be long, so consider yourself warned! :lmao:

We were up at 4:30 a.m., at our resort bus stop by 4:55, and there were already 10 people in front of us in line. By the time the bus got there at 5:15, the bus was full. We arrived at MK at 5:35, through security by 5:45, we were able to stand directly in front of the train station for the opening ceremony, which I thought was super cute and fun. Of course, I cried, and of course, my husband made fun of me  Once the show was done, we met up with our friend Big Red who made us awesome pin heads for our celebration buttons (Mike husband is celebrating his 20 years in the USN, and I was celebrating his retirement!). Once we had our pins, we entered the park and just took in the sights. It was so early and the sun had just come up, and of course I cried again- I was just so happy! :yay:

After taking a few castle photos, we made our way to Fantasyland. Walked onto Pooh, Peter Pan, grabbed coffee and a sticky bun at Gaston's Tavern, walked onto Little Mermaid, did a M&G with Ariel, and checked out the line for SDMT- at this point it was almost 8am and the wait was 120min, so we decided to keep going...walked on IASW and Haunted Mansion and then walked back down Main Street, grabbed some more coffee at Starbucks and then onto City Hall to sign in for our 9am Keys To the Kingdom Tour. We received our name tags, chose our lunches and received a bottle of water and were asked to wait outside until it was time to go.

While we were waiting for our tour to start, we hopped in line to meet Snow White. This was our first child-free Disney trip and on my list was to meet characters (my boys have really no big interest in it). Snow was darling, I love, love, love how the characters interact with the guests.

Our tour began promptly at 9, we were lucky enough to meet fellow Dis-ers, Roy and his sweet wife Marianne, as they were in our tour group. We were able to go on the Jungle Cruise and the Haunted Mansion during our tour. We were also able to view two backstage areas; my favorite was the area where we were able to see them bring out the floats for the Festival of Fantasy parade. Our tour guide's name was Jordan, and I loved him. Filled out a guest appreciation card for him, I liked him so much :) He was filled with Disney knowledge and I feel like instead of losing any magic, I gained even more. To know what goes on "backstage" to make everything work so smoothly "on stage" is just amazing.

Our tour ended a little after two, and after a quick photo session with Jordan, we hightailed it to Fairytale Hall for our FP+ meet and greet with Elsa, Anna and Aurora. Elsa entertained my DH by taking a selfie with him to show to his colleagues and Anna was cute and told me that Sven loved chocolate covered carrots and he and Olaf were off searching for some. Aurora was a southern belle and to be honest, that's all I remember about her interaction. She was fine and polite, but nothing too memorable.

I need to say that I was originally very hesitant about being two adults in line to meet characters, but during my entire trip, we were welcomed and never once made to feel insane :rotfl2: In fact, the CM at Elsa and Anna put me totally at ease and even proclaimed how awesome we were I appreciated that so much, I filled out a guest appreciation card for her too :)

After our meet and greet, it was close to 3pm, so we decided to go find seats for the 3:30 Festival of Fantasy parade...we were starting to feel a bit tired at this point, so while I claimed our spot on the curb, DH went and got himself a coffee and an iced tea for me. The parade was awesome- I teared up too many times to count. The dragon blew fire right in front of us, the costumes were amazingly beautiful, the floats were so much fun. It was such a great experience. I felt like I was four years old, nearly jumping up and down, waving to the characters!

After the parade was over, we headed back to see the time on the Mine Train. It was listed at 60min, so Mike got an ice cream cone and I chose a special event snack (the poisoned apple shortcake) and hopped in line. It took us 40 minutes to reach the interactive point and that’s when we realized why there was such a wait- everyone was playing the games! It totally caused a back up in the line- once we passed that, we walked right onto the ride. I fully admit that I was nervous because I am afraid of heights and roller coasters are not my favorite thing, but I was so excited too! The ride is sooooo smooth, it felt like we were floating on air. I couldn’t believe how smooth it was. The drop, according to my husband, was a “baby” drop, but I felt my tummy tighten. The section of the ride in the mine was awesome- I can’t even describe the level of awesomeness. My biggest impression of the ride was how smooth it was- it makes Space Mountain feel like an off road jeep adventure.

We made our way over to Pinocchio Village Haus, so I could sign the wish book, and then over to Cinderella’s wishing well. From there we moved to Tomorrowland, did The Laugh Factory, took two rides around the People Mover and then DH decided to go onto Space Mountain. While he went on that, I rode the PM again and visited one of my favs, COP. Once DH got off of SM, we had our photo taken in front of one of the Instagram spots- the big clock- and according to that photo, it was 6:20 p.m.

By this time, it was close to our FP+ time for BTMR, so we mosied over to Adventureland to try to hit Pirates before BTMR. After standing in line for 15 minutes, the ride had technical difficulties, so we decided to leave the line and head to Frontierland. We scanned in for our FP and waited maybe ten minutes before loading in. Still not a fan of roller coasters, but wanting to face my fears, I spent almost the entire ride with my face smooshed into my husband’s arm.

Our feet were starting to feel the burn, so we found a bench and people watched for a good 45 minutes- some people’s costumes were absolutely amazing. We saw a lot of Disney bounders, a lot of smiles and only a few tears.

At 8:15, we moved to the Hub area to get to the FP+ area for Wishes- they let us into the Rose Garden as soon as we arrived, and this is where I wish we had brought something to sit on. We were all able to sit on the grass, but where we were, it was scratchy dry grass- but after being on our feet all day, we weren’t going to complain. We watched Celebrate the Magic (note: viewing slightly obstructed from FP area) and then Wishes. Once it was done, we weren’t in a huge rush to move, so we waited until the majority of the crowd disappeared before making our way back to New Fantasyland for our BOG ADR. Yes, you read that right, I was able to score us a 9:50pm ADR for Be Our Guest! On our way back, the line was short at the Cinderella’s carriage Instagram spot, so we stopped for a picture- we had fun with it, the Photo Pass photographer was a lot of fun. One of my favorite shots of the nights was from here.

We arrived at the Beasts’ castle and I was soooo excited to eat here- we signed in, they told us they were running about half an hour behind on reservations, but we would be seated as soon as possible. We took some pictures outside the castle and by 10:00, we were brought inside. We were seated in the ballroom, at a table directly next to the window with snow. We both ordered the steak, which was deeelicious. Our waitress (Margie) was super sweet and brought us a plate full of grey stuff once she saw our Celebration buttons. Once dinner was done, we couldn’t move. We were full and exhausted. This is when the fatigue hit us full force. It was a mistake to eat such a heavy dinner at so late. We toured the rest of the restaurant and met the Beast- he made a huge deal over DH's button, shook his hand and saluted him, I loved it.

We left BOG and practically rolled ourselves to the Hub so we could see Celebrate the Magic again- this time unobstructed. We met up with Big Red for a few minutes to compare notes and then separated so we could go to our 4th FP+, to meet Tinkerbell at Town Hall. We grabbed some more coffee at Starbucks and enjoyed our stroll down Main Street at midnight. We scanned in for Tink and had no wait at all- she was super cute and fun, but to be completely honest, I was so tired at this point, I couldn’t understand what she was saying LOL.
After meeting Tink, my DH started complaining about being tired- I was tired too but didn’t want to admit it. I wanted to stay the entire 24 hours! So we found an awesome spot on the curb across from the Train Station for the 1am Main Street Electrical Parade. We enjoyed the pre-parade-show, the Villains’ Parade, but I was surprised at how small/short it was. By the time the MSEP started, my DH was absolutely miserable. I felt so bad, he was such a trooper all day, but by the time the parade was over, he was done. We wrestled with the idea of staying but I could see how tired he was, and since I wanted to enjoy the experience with him, I agreed to leave the park too. We lasted 20 hours. We were sooooooooooooo close, but there’s always next time, right??

In short, we had an absolutely fantastic day, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. The crowds that I had feared where nonexistent. We met some great people, we were surrounded by Disney magic all day long. Our magic bands worked perfectly, I received numerous compliments on my MB decorating skills, all day long DH was congratulated and complimented on his Pin Head- no blisters on our feet, and no chafing on our thighs-it was one of the best days of my life!

Can’t wait to do it again!pixiedust:

It was so great to have met you guys. We loved the tour and now trying to put together a report specifically about the tour. We forgot to get a group picture. Maybe we can all meet up again during next years event?

We just posted our Rock Your Disney Side report too. WOW! was the party ever amazing!

I just noticed your Cruise ticker! When/where are you going? We're booked for a Feb cruise on the Dream!

I'd LOVE to make the 24 hour celebration into an annual event!!

We will be on the Wonder sailing out of San Diego next May. It was an add on to our Disneyland trip.

We love the Dream. We have been on it 4 times now. It is our favourite but we are making our rounds to all the Disney ships. Only the Fantasy and Wonder left on the list. We have been on the pre and post imagined Magic already and loved it too.
