May 23, 2011 - The UNOFFICIAL "The Bachelorette" - NO SPOILERS, please!

ICK...get the sister off the tv! I think she's jealous of Ashley's attention.

Does anyone else want to jump through the TV and hug JP?? Poor guy, that was rough and he seems soooo vulnerable.

ETA: JP, do you really want to be with a woman who doesn't even know her own mind?

I wouldn't want to marry into a family where SHE was going to be my sister-in-law. It's been about 15 minutes and I'm already sick of her.

That is exactly what I was thinking. If she really loves him she would have assured him that she would be making up her own mind.

That sister was obnoxious. She judged him on a few minutes of conversation when she knew he was nervous. How would she have liked it if he assumed she was trash because she was covered in tattoos? Talk about being judgmental.:sad2:

I don't know ... I think if the sister really has a problem with JP she should say so especially when Ashley asked her opinion.

ETA: And what she was saying is really no different than what we were saying about JP & Ashley on this thread.

What is up with Ashley's sister??? She must be jealous the way she is jumping down JP then Ashley's throat. No class or tact. Wow!

Absolutely. That was JP's point, he wanted to hear her say that and she didn't.

She was obnoxious but I think what we're finding is that Ashley has a track record with men and making poor decisions based on just her gut feeling.

I agree. I thought JP handled it quite well considering her less than friendly attitude. Plus Ashley stated that everything her sister voiced was what was already in her own head! Run away JP, run fast like the wind!

I don't like Ashley's sister. She has no compassion; she's a control freak. If she hasn't learned how to talk to her sister and be loving with her while making some observations...and she was hateful to JP, hateful. I see no capacity to love in her. What in the world happened to these two young women; one has no emotions and the other is pure emotion. Ashley is immature and needy. JP needs a woman who can assure him when he's under attack. She doesn't fill the bill. He should get on a plane and fly home, now.

My thoughts exactly. Sounds quite dysfunctional actually. Ashley is all emotion and tears while her sister is a tatooed robot...that does not compute, that does not compute, I don't like JP Ashley...

Just got home. I have to go back & look at te JP segment.

OMG! She is trying SOOOOO hard to make her family, especially her sister, like Ben. "Ben, gt up & do your cute pet voice NOW!!!"

I guess what bothers me is that she wouldn't even give JP a chance. She had already made up her mind about him and refused to admit she could be wrong.

What's with the sister acting like the head of the family???

Oooo, I can't WAIT to hear what you think of the JP segment.

Her sister not only acting like the overprotective big sister of the family...but also know-it-all and her opinion is the ONLY opinion worth hearing. And I also think she's enjoying her 15 minutes VERY much.

Exactly. I'm all for honesty, of course she should tell Ashley how she feels, but lets consider for a moment that they aren't going to be themselves during the first minutes of meeting the family. They are nervous. I understand that she didn't see what she wanted, but give the guy a chance!

Although... after this, I think maybe JP should slip away quietly. Otherwise he could have an angry sister-in-law who didn't get her way after him.

It seems like Ashley doesn't care who she picks, as long as she ends up with SOMEONE. She has no clue what is in her head and she has no business making this kind of decision right now. :sad2:

I agree. The mom tried to voice her opinion about J P but the sister wasn't interested in hearing it.

So because she's divorced she's an expert on love?
What did bother me was that Ashley cared so much about what they thought.
