We're back on dry land after the DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise and I am officially on vacation!!!!!!!!!!

We checked into Kidani Village about an hour ago and it's fabulous. We have a standard view but it's really not that bad. Parking is underneath which is really cool.

The Podcast cruise was phenomenal!! No pressure at all but if anyone wants to book the next one onboard (December 12, 2010), talk to me about it before you do.

Can't wait!!!!!!!

I think I have an addiction...I can't stay away from here!! I have nothing packed at all for this trip!! I will have to stay away from here this weekend and get packing! To add to the stress...had the pool opened yesterday and they said I need a new pump (it's only 2 years old). They wanted an enormous amount of money, so I said hold off. Well, we found one cheaper and my DH is more than capable of changing it out. But...now he is heading out of town for his job tomorrow...until next Friday afternoon...the day we leave! So unless he can get the part and get it done today...if there's a break in the rain and T-storms we have been having...I don't know what to do

No advice...sorry.....I'd say to leave the pool til you got back, but I know what mine would look like if I left it a week or more.

I am soooo mad at myself right now, I could scream.
I bought a couple of tops a long time ago, and put them someplace "safe" so that I wouldn't wear them before the cruise. Now I can't find them. I've looked everywhere....TWICE.

I've definitely done that...I usually do it presents that I buy throughout the year.

DD16 is wearing white with a sash that matches my dress EXACTLY. DD7 is wearing pink! DH got a shirt for his linen suit that doesn't match us but oh well!!!! We're there to put the new rings on! I got hidden mickeys in our rings!

The first step is admitting you have a problem..... I JUST finished packing the FE boxes (I'm shipping them down) so I KNOW what you're going through. Just do a bit at a time and it will be done in no time!

Yes...never a good time and I thought we had it fixed. Well, he did get it fixed. So I started cleaning it and the pump quit! So now he figured out it needs another part...and yes, he is leaving town. I will see if the part is available and hope that he is only out of town a couple days and can fix it before the cruise. I can only imagine what it will look like if it sits for two weeks and hasn't been cleaned from being closed all winter

On the bright side...we get to cruise in a little over a week! I can't wait to meet everyone

I don't FREAKIN believe this...I live in in South FL, at the very bottom of the state, just before you start driving to the Keys. We are referred to as "Hurricane Alley", mainly because Hurricane Andrew wiped out the town we live in, Homestead, back in 1992.

ANYWAY, hurricane season doesn't even start until June 1 and this morning, all of the news stations are already "Tracking the Tropics", for several of their forecast models are showing what looks like a tropical system developing near the southeast tip of Florida (either on the Atlantic or Gulf side) sometime Mon-Thurs of next week

The good news, at this point in the season and with water temps still relatively cool,the chances of the system becoming a hurricane are slim to none but we could have a tropical something on our hands or if anything, a major rain event come next weekend. Oh well, we need the rain desperately!

Might want to pack some ponchos for the sail away party!!

I finally got around to buying 'stuff' to make my FE this weekend - nothing like procrastinating till the last minute

I still need to get myself out today for FE stuff. I went out yesterday with the intention of finishing up but Michael's no longer had what I was going to buy!!! UGH!!! I'm still at a loss for the teens/tweens. I also need to finish up on the homemade adult gifts. 1/2 of you may be getting one thing and 1/2 another ... just running out of time but both will be equally special ... I hope.

Heather, is your FE list up-to-date with any stateroom # changes? I need to remember to print it out before leaving!!!
