May 23, 2009 (5/23/09) E. Caribbean w/Tortola

Did all our online forms today, printed out and ready to go.

Well my youngest got some sun by painting a friend's corral in exchange to ride his Clydesdale. It is a sight to someone so small riding something so BIG, when he takes the horse into a run it takes my breath away. Anyways there was some sort of huge Crocs clearence center in town for the weekend and we bought $3000 in shoes and clothes for alittle over $200 so we are now well set for the cruize:banana:

If you got a picture of him on the Clydesdale, we'd love to see it!!

You are a master at bargain shopping.:worship::worship::worship:

No docs for us yet. I still need to fill out our online forms. I'm so behind!

Stacey, I hope your knee is doing better & hope that you will see improvement before the cruise.

For everyone working so much, hopefully you'll enjoy your cruise that much more.

Put me on the list of the pasty white people!!! It's just sad.

Took the girls shopping yesterday. Found Ashley a nice dress at Costco on Sat. Wanted to find something for Emily but wasn't going to push the issue ... she's almost 9 and doesn't want to wear dresses anymore. Wound up at Penney's & she found a cocktail dress that she liked & it actually fit. :scared1: That scary guy is because it's a very grown-up dress. So she has something for semi-formal night. We're skipping formal night for Palo. She asked if she could wear it more than one night. Too funny coming from a girl that DID NOT want to wear a dress.

Oh yes the girls grow up so quick it is scary:scared1:

Tarryn had a Batmitzvah this week end so she wore one of the dresses she is going to take with her.

Adam has a jacket but for the life of me I cannot find the pants - I'm sure he wore them as school uniform and probably got holes so I tossed them so now I have to go find him pants to go with his jacket and I guess a new shirt and tie.

I haven't started any packing or getting stuff together so really need to get my a$$ in gear as there is 3 weeks of school which will be busy ones.

I forgot too that Tarryn has her school field trip the weekend of the 8th May which is also her dance recital which she will be missing. Have to get her packed for that - only 2 nights but just another thing to get thru :goodvibes

I got my cruise docs today. They arrived Fed Ex International (don't forget i'm in the UK) having been despatched on 23 May from DCL in Celebration. Should mean everyone else wil be getting their docs shortly too.

Does anyone else do pin trading onboard? I need to remember to take the kids pins with them for pin trading evenings - they have always had such fun with that and have a great collection each.:thumbsup2
Yikes better start putting stuff together cause I'm working right thru to the Friday although that is a half day for me.:worship:

Oh yeah! We love pin trading! :cheer2: There is plenty on the ship. Where are you in Atlanta?

The girls will do pin trading too. I need to remember to pack everything.

I asked the girls yesterday if they were going to want to get character autographs. They both answered yes. That totally surprised me. Guess I need to find them sort of autograph book. Last time I found them inexpensively at The Disney Store. I haven't seem them there lately though.

Takes longer to get the docs way out west, I guess. :guilty:

Well, so far, no trip reports from the group heading for Tortola this week. I guess we still have lots of time after they get back, to see if they have any good info.

Saw a post on the Main Boards that Brent will be our cruise director. Christiaan is moving over to the Wonder for a while. Darn it....I really like Christiaan. Brent is good, too....I just like Christiaan more.

Isn't that funny, going from not wanting a dress to now wanting to wear it a few times! LOL They do grow up way too fast!!

I could have sworn I heard a truck pull up to our house this morning (i am still sick so didn't get up to look). Nothing was left and I didn't hear anyone knock on the door. Do you have to sign for the docs?

The last time I went to the Disney store I walked out without buying a thing - It has been years since that happened but as the kids have gotten older there is less there for them :worship:
Thanks for the reminder - I will ask them if they intend to get autographs too.
