Hi everyone! We've had this cruise booked for awhile but was not sure if we were going to keep it or move it. But it's now a keeper! We also booked the cruise before this one today! We're super excited about both! It will be my sister, my niece(12 years old) and me. We would like to participate in the FE if it's still open. Thanks!

Aren't we lucky to have grown children that not only love us but enjoy being with us enough to spend a whole week in a small cabin with us? We must have done something right!

Where is everyone staying pre-cruise in Vancouver? The prices are so high! Is there any decent hotel that's not ultra expensive?

We booked through DCL and got the Fairmont Waterfront. My dad enjoyed it so much when he stayed there years ago, he wanted me to get to stay there too, so I got it for Christmas!! (Well, all but about $100 of it...) Surprisingly, booking it through DCL saved us a lot of money over booking directly with Fairmont!

New Mexico will be well represented in this group! My daughter (Satarma) lives in the NE heights and I am in Los Lunas. I believe the other person from NM was from Los Alamos. It will be great to get to meet you!

We are staying on the ship We are on the cruise before this one but when we were researching last year - it was expensive!

We are staying a couple of days in Seattle instead after the cruise.

I should say Tracy Arm day, it's not available for 4 people. We did get it for 2 and for 2 lol.

We got Palo brunch on Tracy Arm Day, and Dinner on the last night.

Booked 2 excursions. The Rail & Yukon Suspension bridge, had wanted rail and kayaking but that wasn't available to book, and the Glacier and Whale Watching.

DH also booked me into the spa for a hot stone massage so i'm a very happy bunny.

I booked my Palo brunch for the first At Sea day - was that a mistake?? I'm wondering if that may end up being the character breakfast day and I'll have to cancel Palo anyway...any thoughts? I noticed that Tracy Arm day was sold out already last night - do you all know something that I don't??

Also, the only excursion that we really wanted to book through DCL was the Takshanuk Mountain Trail 4x4. It showed up as something else on the activity list (SW42??) as $0.00 (woohoo - free!! Yeah, right). Now it's on my activity list, but without an excursion name, picture, or anything. Just our names and the time. Did anyone else book this excursion and have this happen to them?

We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to book everything that we planned for. Getting up this morning at 4:45 after making the reservations at midnight is another story.

Palo dinner on 1st sea day, nature and wildlife expedition in Skagway. Whale watching, salmon bake and Mendenhall glacier in Juneau. The native village in Ketchikan. Palo brunch on the last sea day.
