Welcome!

I have added you to the list.

Sorry I have been MIA - some not very great news in my life lately and I cam running behind....time is passing quickly! We have booked our hotels for after the cruise (we are staying in the area for a few days) so we are good to go there. And we live in LA so we just have to get to the ship here on the 14th.

I will be posting the info for the Secret Mickey soon.

Have a great day!

Made our Palo ressies :cool1: It looked like most of the excursions were screwed up. Showing a price of $0 and had no info if you tried to click on them. Hopefully they get that taken care of soon!

This will be our 2nd cruise, we did a 4 night Wonder cruise as part of our honeymoon. The cruise is just part of our trip, we'll be flying into Vancouver from the UK on the Thursday before the cruise so we'll have 4 nights there. After the cruise we'll have 2 nights in Seattle then we fly down to San Diego for 3 nights before flying home. So far only the flights and cruise are booked so lots of hotel research to do.

It's time! :cool1::cool1:

I want to update the first page with FE participants as well as collect SM info.

Please send me a PM if you are planning on participating in the FE. Even if you originally said yes - still send me a note. Please include the date of the cruise. I don't want to assume you are still interested and you are not. Please also confirm the stateroom number of each cabin participating.

Please note, if you have more then one cabin participating, each cabin should give out a FE gift to be fair to those who giving to each cabin.

If you wish to participate in the SM exchange, please send me the following information:

Anything you would like your SM to know

Please do not purchase anything for your SM until you know who you have. It should be personal to them. You should have 2-3 small gifts with a final gift that will be given at the SM reveal on the last sea day. Time/Location TBA. The total cost for the SM should be in the $25-$30 range total for all gifts.

Deadline to sign up for SM and/or FE will be February 21st to provide time to everyone to make their plans. If you have any questions - please let me know.

Thank you!

We are starting to book our excursions too, and, like you, are probably going to end up with mostly non-Disney sponsored activities. If you end up deciding on the helicopter in Juneau, we are booked on the 8:45am flight with Era. They are supposed to be the best company and for less than any of the helicopter options through Disney. Its also a semi-plea for anyone who is tempted to do a helicopter glacier flight, since they only fly if they have 4 passengers. We are worried that with only one other ship in port that morning, the flights won't get booked and, as a party of only 2, we will be cancelled. So, anyone tempted to take a helicopter out to walk on the glaciers in Juneau, at least look into Era.

Additionally, we are probably going to do ziplining in the afternoon in Juneau, and that has a minimum too, so if you are tempted by that one (the zipline at Treadmill Mine, including a narrated Gastineau Channel Crossing in boat and amazing views of old mine) perhaps we can coordinate.

Our Ketchikan plans are most likely kayaking, found a local guide that will get us out of town and into some tidal wildlife zones, for half the cost of some of the bigger kayaking tours in town. Happy to share details with anyone who is interested.

Skagway is our big unknown. Can't decide if its worth the $ to do a flight out to Glacier Bay, tempted by snowshoeing, or if we are spending enough money elsewhere and we should just stick with in-town activities this day. We aren't interested in the train, or dog sledding, but that still leaves far too many options!

I haven't looked into any tours yet only having booked on Sunday but we may be interested in co-ordinating with you depending on cost. I'll probably be looking at tours this weekend. Any info you have greatly recieved.

We are over-planners and plan all of our vacations with spreadsheets, so I have an excel document with all available (and interesting to us) excursions for each of our three port days, plus Seattle and Vancouver (although those two are much shorter at the moment since we haven't really started to plan those days). I am happy to send this to anyone interested, since I can't post that type of document here. PM me and I can send it along.

I love spreadsheets! I always do holiday spreadsheets. I'll PM you my e-mail - cheers very much.

My husband's work schedule has changed which will conflict with this wonderful cruise so we will have to bow out. We have switched to a July cruise to Nova Scotia.

Have a great time, folks. We'll meet again on another cruise, I'm sure!

We looked at the Nova Scotia one as well. Enjoy.

Thought I'd share some photos. The photos are us on our honeymoon cruise, at our Wedding, and our last years trip to Disneyland on the Matterhorn.
