I'm still wrapping my head around 58,000 points sold at sold-out resorts in just one month, even in the absence of ROFR. Sure, there might be a few clawed back through foreclosure, but that's still a ton of points. Looking back at the April report, they sold about 20,500 points at sold-out resorts, down from 23,100 in March.
Typo, mind wandered. Meant 36,000. Had just read the line "This marks the third month in a row that it sold just under 58,000 points" and typed 58,000, rather than 36,000. It's still a big jump over the prior months.I am only get around $36k?

Who did you talk to about your AKV points ???Yes, I spoke to them recently to see if there was any scope to sell back my AKV so that I could purchase at RIV but they said they weren’t purchasing AKV points at present.
And you can spread your payment disbursements out even moreso, if you put the purchase on your Disney Visa (6-Months at 0%). I did this for my AKV add on.I doubt that many. I got the sense during my recent purchase that the 90 days is quite discouraged. I had to be rather firm (polite, but firm) as several times throughout the call to purchase I was asked if I would prefer 30 days or 60 days. After the purchase was complete my guide told me spreading out the purchase over 90 days was a great idea and that it was very smart to do so. I almost got the sense he had to be able to say to his bosses that spreading it over 90 days was the only way he could make the sale. I imagine a lot of people by the fifth time they were asked might have backed down to a shorter window. I just see no point to part with that money any sooner than I have to when it can be earning 4 percent or more in an FDIC insured savings account.

Yes, I did the same thing. Others have talked about using Chase Plan-It (I think that’s Amex’s name actually, but whatever chase calls their payment plan option) or new card promotions to spread out the payments even further, but I thought using the Disney Visa was a good way to go for us. We may be eligible to use one of the payments on a Chase Plan-It with 0% interest/fees for 2 years… I have read about that on the forums and will look into it when the time is right.And you can spread your payment disbursements out even moreso, if you put the purchase on your Disney Visa (6-Months at 0%). That's interesting. We bought 220 direct at the end of 2021, and had no issues with the 90 days. If anything, it actually ended up being more than 90 days for us, since about a month later, DVD had a promo on BLT points, so our guide called us to ask if we wanted to switch our AKL points to BLT ones since we hadn't closed yet. He then gave us another 90 days from then without us having to ask for it.I spoke to my guide a week or so ago about VDH (I'm local, so didn't buy, but was curious about some things). From what I understand talking to other guides (they see who your guide is when you give them your phone # prior to getting some SWAG or a tour), my guy is one of the more senior dudes and has one of the largest books of business (you won't catch him pulling shifts doing VGF2 room tours).
According to him, he'd swing 90 day terms, but it would have to be on something in the 250-300 point range depending on resort, just to get the conversation rolling. And that's with a current member he has had an established relationship with. Obviously, YMMV.

I found them online. They are available to purchase for a VERY nominal amount ($5.00) from this site here:Don;
I've been noticing your interesting Resort Avatars in your signature line, and wondering where you acquired them(??)
I have to say, though, that the Boulder Ridge Avatar was the first to catch my eye:
It kinda looks like a TombStone![]()
That would probably be a much worse deal than selling points yourself even if they’d do it?Yes, I spoke to them recently to see if there was any scope to sell back my AKV so that I could purchase at RIV but they said they weren’t purchasing AKV points at present.
