May 2021? What new things will be open?

We've cancelled our trip again (COVID sucks). Our next try will be the first week of May in 2021. Is there someplace I can check for what new rides will be open? I'm excited park hopper will be back but would really like to cheer myself up with a new restaurant or ride - maybe Remi's in EPCOT?

I know Disney is selling PH for 2021 but Unless I missed an announcement, I wouldn’t count on it being available for your trip. An announcement was made that ratatouille would be coming in 2021 but no official date. My guess is that it will be opened by may though. There is a chance space 220 will be open but again, no firm date yet.

Well they just let me buy a park hopper ticket so that's a hopeful sign.

You can’t count on anything right now. Hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised. I pushed our May trip to November in the hopes that more would be open/operating than what is now.

Everything is so up in the air. I refer to official Disney postings now. Although in the past, many rumors came true.

Like crowds....plan for the worst, be excited when you get more than you thought.

Stop canceling trips if you can. We enjoyed our September trip very much. Yeah, the masks sucked, but it was still Disney. The smaller crowds and more than made up for it. And I hope Fast Pass+ never comes back.

Keep your May trip, and just roll with it. Don't over think it. A day @ Disney is still better then a day @ home.

As others have said, they’re selling Hoppers, but no announcements as the when they will actually return. Of course Disney would rather you pay for it now and refund you later if needed. I chose to just purchase regular tix and will add the hopper if it returns.

We started planning for next May right about the time Covid hit, because we were holding out for Tron and Guardians. However now, Tron looks pretty unlikely and I’d call Guardians a hard no But I’m holding out hope for Ratatouille. Plus we haven’t been to HS since Toy Story Land opened, so that’s probably a 3-day park for us! Also hoping there will be some mask-free photo zones by then, but doubtful on that too.
