My motivation this week is to make the days longer by getting up and getting going earlier in the mornings. This morning I got out for my morning walk at 7am (had been sleeping till 8:30ish). Tomorrow Phase 1 of restriction lifting starts, so I'll head down to the beach for my morning walk... sunrise is at 5:45am right now, so I'm going to try to get out of the house around that time. We'll see how that goes.
Next up this morning is a big adventure... a trip to the hardware store. They've been open all along as essential, I just didn't think it was essential for me to go there, until now. I've got a list of about a dozen things to pick up. Last evening my neighborhood yarn store sent out an email saying they'll resume curb side pickup tomorrow, as that is part of the Phase 1 plan for retail. This made me extremely happy... I don't need anything from them, it was just the sense of things moving forward. I'm hoping that the neighborhood bookstore will also resume curb-side pick up soon, so that the next book I order doesn't have to be shipped... I'm still waiting for the one I ordered last week. I'm also hopefully that we (my company) will resume curb side pick up.
The other thing that made me incredibly happy last evening is the under desk cycle... it came yesterday and I love it, absolutely love it. I'm so glad I went ahead and paid for one of the more expensive/better quality ones because it is smooth and quiet and heavy, so it doesn't shift around. I peddled for an hour last night and was concerned I might be feeling it this morning, but all is good.
