I haven't seen one started for May yet. Anyone else planning a May trip and waiting for discounts? I checked and it looks like the start of the new year is when discounts have been historically released.

Me too! I booked this trip with a TA for the first time because I could realllllly use a discount to come my way! I'm also hoping that we'll see something pop up around the new year.

Damn! We booked a package - room, park hoppers, and dining for 3 people (2 adults and 1 child) and it was about 5200 in July for the same amount of days (staying at WL). We went in May previously for a long weekend but I can’t get extended time off then because I have to follow a teachers schedule 😫. It was so nice in May

ETA: well 7 days 6 nights

We splurged and booked CL, so that definitely increased the cost. I saw discounts in the past for up to 40%, so hoping for something to get the cost down.

Count me in.. Already booked but man something about that $6,000 price tag is making me choke a little bit this time - come on discounts!

Kinda thinking about staying at Universal Studios for the whole trip and driving to Disney a few times instead of staying onsite. The rooms/grounds are so much nicer at US then WDW and cheaper!

We are planning a trip and thinking the same thing? Do you know if the renovated Caribbean Beach Resort better than staying at US?

Sorry, I do not know but that is exactly where I would stay or Art of Anim, like the last couple of days perhaps.

I'm planning an early May trip - first time EVER and would love to know more about getting discounts for anything. Any advice here would be most welcome.

Thanks

We are going to a Disney wedding on June 1. We are going down a few days early and leaving our boys home. I currently have pop century booked, I am open to change. We actually want to try the skyliner and see the renovations at pop. We need to save for a family vacation too.

I am booked in May 2020 as well and wouldn’t mind seeing what discounts are available for May. Hopefully we will see something in the next few months.

We have booked 8 nights after Memorial Day. We usually book club level but this trip it will be a regular room. Looking forward to experiencing more restaurants.

Son's HS graduation trip - mid May. Still trying to decide where to stay and hoping for a really good discount too.

We always go in may, and by the time we booked a cabin at FW last year, the discount was no longer available. Paying full price hurt! We've got a group of 7 going May 2020 and are planning on a 2 bedroom villa, so fingers crossed for something good!
