I'm operating on the theory that May 2019 might be a great time for a Disney visit with as close to down season crowds as you can get nowadays, specifically because I'm expecting people to be waiting for Galaxy's Edge
I'm also hoping that likely higher Disney hotel and food pricing would not have kicked in yet.
Here's my theory:
We're a "once every three to five years" Disney family. May 2019 would be three years from our last visit. For us, there would be plenty of new interesting things that we didn't see last time, such as Avatar or frozen Ever After.
I'd love to see Galaxy's Edge, but I'm assuming that will be a crowd nightmare for at least a few years.
So it seems smart to sneak in a pre Galaxy's Edge vacation that would allow me to benefit from lower crowds and lower prices and then hopefully have a subsequent trip once Galaxy's Edge has settled down a bit.
Anything wrong with my reasoning here?
Would late January 2019 be any better?
