They haven't come out with anything yet but this year a promotion for May was released in January. Up to 30% off the room and then they came out with one with a lesser discount and free memory maker. hth!

When the discounts will be announced, the best thing is to call WDW and ask them to check if they can apply it to our reservation correct?

We will be there around the same time! I am getting married on May 18th, Disney told me that they will release discounts some time in Jan. just call and tell them your reservation info and they will apply it to your account. The last 5 years Disney has offered up to 35% off rooms during May

Planning our first Disney trip on May 5th through 12th at CBR. Too excited! Would be nice to get a promo offer to use. After reading about PIN's here, I searched my email and found older emails from Disney with PIN's for free dining or ~30% room rates, but nothing for May months.

My baby (only one we have) will be graduating from high school in May. We (she and I) have always wanted to go back to WDW for another "girls only" trip. I am thinking that I will surprise her with a trip for her graduation gift. She is a HUGE fan of The Little Mermaid and we have never stayed at AofA. We have also never been in May before. Do they offer the % off rooms at that specific resort or is it generally only for the "older" resorts? What about free dining? Thanks!

From what I understand, LM rooms at AoA are practically never discounted as they never have a hard time filling them. That goes for pretty much any promotion tied to a package, including free dining.

Absolutely, you can apply the discount if its comes out AND there is availability for the reservation you have. Otherwise, you may have to modify your reservation to fit the discount. I should also mention that in order to avoid any reservation change charges, you need to do this at least 45 days before your reservation, which shouldn't be a problem for a May trip.

We've booked for May as well and plan on keeping the reservation in any case. A discount would just be a bonus.

Do the ASMu family suites ever get discounted? My family and I are planning a trip to WDW in May to celebrate my 50th birthday (I thought that would be the best place to avoid reality for a bit!). We are debating between the family suites at ASMu or 2 rooms at a moderate. I'd like to get something booked soon and hopefully add a discount if/when it comes out.

I finally bit the bullet and booked AOA Lion King Suite. I wanted Deluxe, but my family won and I gave in to them. My week, May 10-16, can't change so I'm going with or without the discount. Would love to have some kind of discount though!
