Hi everyone. So, my partner and I will be in London/Paris at the end of May. We're spending 4 days in London and 5 days in Paris. He's been to Europe before, and I haven't. We're from Ohio in the States.

I know, I know... we should do all of the touristy things in Paris, but there's a part of me that wants to check out Disneyland Paris for one day. You can see from my signature that we've been to Florida a number of times, and we're going to California in October 2013.

I know how to get their via train and we would probably go from 10am - 8:00/8:30pm (I think the calendar says it closes at 8:30pm the day we're considering), so my question for you is the following: Is it worth it? Honestly.

We already have the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Versailles, and other things scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Also, is the Thursday after Pentacost Monday going to be crowded?

The first time I went to Paris I was there for 4 days, one of which was spent at Disneyland (only went into the main park and didn't go into WDS). It was definitely worth taking that one day for Disneyland for me - but at that point it had been 6 years since I'd last been to a Disney park and I really wanted to go!

As for going to DLP if you're familiar with the US Disney parks - Disneyland Paris has in my opinion the most beautiful Magic Kingdom and castle, and there are a number of attractions that are different or unique to DLP (ones that are different include Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Phantom Manor; ones that are unique include Crush's Coaster, Animagique, Cinemagique). And Disney Dreams (the 20th anniversary show with fireworks and projections on the castle) will still be running in May and is definitely worth watching - it's one of Disney's best night time shows ever!

I can't answer for you if it would be worth taking a day out from Paris for Disneyland - I guess it depends on whether you can fit in everything else you want to do in Paris in the other days (though seems like you have everything planned out?)...

I think it is worth it, providing you spend the time at the better park, the Disneyland Park, it compares very well with Magic Kingdom and the little differences you will find interesting in comparison.

Just to add that the parks will be open at least till 10.30pm at end of May to accomodate Dreams which can only happen in the dark and after park closing time. If you can get a train back to wherever you are staying at this late hour I would say stay around for Dreams! - It is the highlight of a day in DLP in my opinion :-)

I think the parks should not be too hectic by the tuesay. We are arriving monday afternoon and expecting it too be manic but hoping that the rest of the week is do-able. We were there same time last year and it really was not too bad at all.
Have a fab time in Eruope whatever you decide to do:goodvibes
