Hubby and I are considering renting points to catch Flower & Garden this year! Have never been in May, but I was able to get some travel funds back from SW on our December trip, so airfare is basically paid for!

Looking at Mother's Day wknd, or the following weekend... Haven't seen any discounts out for May, though. Got a 'trick' email from Disney Destinations this past week!

We are going May 5th thru May 13th.. I am pretty happy with what we are paying right now. We went 2 years ago and paid more than what we are paying now and we didn't have to pay for DS because he was only 2.. Plus, the airfare from Boston to Orlando right now so cheap.. Under $600 for the 3 of us roundtrip.. If a code comes out that will just be a bonus..

If we go ahead and book and then recieve one of those magical dicount codes, can it be applied to an exisiting reservation?

I'm really wondering if we can expect any other discounts for the first half of 2011.

Disney already offered many discounts for the slower touring periods. The economy seems to be picking up nicely and reservation numbers look high enough for Disney to add more Fantasmic representations and all...

I REALLY need a discount for our May wedding, my 15 (first visits) guests are hoping for one, but I doubt they will offer one.

Please help me believe!!!

I called to make my reservation. The CM stated that you have a pin associated with my name. It was the same pin for general public about free dining. I would love to get free dining for the third week in May. We are booked for Memorial week for free dining.

What a nice bit of luck... Still hoping I get what pin mailed to me - or a public one is offered. I am Ok with what I am paying - but would love to either save some $$$ or upgrade to club!

I was planning on waiting for a public one or a Disney Visa one. I figured it would come out in January. I just decided on a whim to call and I am sooo glad I did!

That's awesome!!! We really want to stay deluxe again too. I'm booked at CSR 5/5-5/13, but we really wanted WL. I just can't do it this year without a discount. I call Disney once a week to check. I've really been wanting to try CSR, but it kills me that I'm paying almost the same amount I paid last year to stay at BWI. We're staying an extra night this time, but I had a 40% off pin last year.

I know what you mean! When I ran the numbers for WL at first I was like there was no way for us to stay there this time! I was planning on Port Orleans. We stayed at WL in December of 2009 and fell in love with the resort! My bill was sooo much lower because we went during value season, stayed 2 nights less at WL (we ended up staying our first 2 nights at ASMo....never again!), DD was 2 = free!, and we had free dining. I also really wanted WL because of the queen size beds....my DH is 6ft 3in and the full beds are not that comfortable for him.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

I am confused! Planning a trip for May 18th- 26th. There are NO codes available! Free Dining doesn't apply.... Why? It applies for Memorial Day weekend and into the beginning of June. What am I missing? I would think that that week would be way more crowded. Is there soemthing I don't know about my dates? Should I push them back a week... Any ideas would be MUCH appreciated!! Now I'm starting to worry about crowd levels!

What is the odds that Disney would offer free dining the week before Memorial Day week? I know that they are offering free dining the week of Memorial Day, & I have booked that week. I would like to book the week before. I would love a pin for free dining for this week. (Just wishing)

Well, I just made it official - booked our room yesterday at CBR for 5/11-5/21. Booked as room-only for now.

I tried calling this morning to see if there were only offers attached to my name. The first person had no idea what I was asking "Well, you would have gotten an e-mail". She transferred me to someone who had a clue and although she was great and helpful it was still no.

She did say to make sure to keep an eye open for discount at that time of year.

Right now we are booked at Pop Century. I would love a room only discount.

For stays most nights 1/2–4/16/11 & 5/1–6/5/11.

My mom forwarded the email to me, and I forwarded it to my TA, and she said she'd try it and see if it worked for our ressie, and it did! I'm really surprised that it did, seeing as how we have different addresses, but I'm not complaining! Maybe it worked because out last names are the same or because our cruise reservations are already linked together. We only saved about $200, so I'm still hoping something else better comes along. I'd love free dining (never had it before), but we had the gift card promo last year and that was pretty cool too. Since it was kind of like 'free' money, we didn't mind spending it on things we normally would pass on (souvenirs, alcoholic drinks in World Showcase, multiple super fattening desserts at the Boulangerie Patisserie).

On the historial site with discount, it looks like WDW won't send out mass market discounts until January.

If true, it is crazy. Two months away, but then all the great dining locations/times will be gone.

I plan with AAA discount and hope for a better discount.

We just got this one too!! My husband signup up on his own e-mail and saved a trip at the Grand Flordian. Two weeks latter he got the PIN. It's going to save us almost 400. Were booking tomorrow morning

Oh I am hoping and praying we get a pin code. We booked through a local department store travel agency. We are staying at the Beach Club (our first deluxe!) from May 1-May 7. It will be our 20 month old daughters first trip to Disney. I would LOVE a discount!!
