Four more days! I'm so excited!

My wife and (14 month old) daughter and I are going to Disneyland May 29 - June 1!!!!![]()
We're staying at Paradise Pier...which as WDW vets excites us because we'll be in "the Bubble". Yes, it's a smaller bubble but it's still the Bubble.
We so can't wait to show Disneyland to our daughter. Last time she was at Disneyland, she was 3 months. We've taken her to WDW recently and she has such a fun time with the characters, attractions and sights! So we can't wait to see her excitement at Disneyland!!
So this trip is to celebrate our daughter's 1 year birthday!

We plan to spend a day or two either before or after the cruise to sight-see since I don't know when we'll make it out to Vancouver again.

Yeah!!! And coming from Vancouver? I should get with you to learn more about your home...since we'll be there next June for the Disney Alaska cruise! We plan to spend a day or two either before or after the cruise to sight-see since I don't know when we'll make it out to Vancouver again.
And a trip to Disneyland for your mom's 50th birthday? Awesome!!
See ya in Disneyland!!!!!![]()
.... And yep... Mum's 50th trip. She knows she is going, but she doesnt know the "ENTIRE" family is going to celebrate her for the week. They are randomly going to bump into her in the park, and throw in some added perks. Give her a tiara, sash, birthday button, then we all take her to Medieval times Dinner and tournament, Goofy's kitchen that week, and also to Sandiego Zoo. She has no idea.
We were there last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. It was a great trip. Lines were very short, weather was fabulous. I love going in May! No more June trips for me. The only down side was that 15 year old has now decided he is 'OVER' DL. He stayed in the hotel most of the time. Kind of sad but my husband and I had fun anyway. I waited less than 5 mins for a water side table at BB and heard the lady next to me brag that she didnt even have ressies and waited about 5 mins for a water side table as well. Cafe Orleans never filled up for lunch while we were seated. It was amazing! Can't wait to go back in March!![]()

I'm glad you had a nice trip.
My 18 year old can take it or leave it. (She's not coming with us) DH needs at least 5 years inbetween trips (He's not coming with us) My almost 15 year old is the biggest DL fan I know! (Besides me) and my 8 year old loves it too! We are taking my Mom this time. She hasn't been to DL in 22 years. She's excited!
Was there stilll a wall around Cafe Orleans? I read somewhere on the boards there was awhile back. When I called to make my PS for next week the CM said she didn't have an answer to my question... I hope its gone. My favorite is to sit there and people watch while eating the best sandwich in the world!![]()

We were there Saturday and had similar experiences. LOTS of band and choir kids there and just overall big crowds. It was our last day so we had done the big rides and focused on the less-busy activities. That went well.Just back! This was our best trip to DL ever. Only could have been better if it were longer!
We were in DCA on Friday, using our Volunteer vouchers. (yay free entrance) We stayed from opening till 8pm or so, to go to DTD for dinner. Ate at Tortilla Joes. EXCELLENT! Super service, almost no wait!
Did DL on Sat. Missed rope drop, as it took us a bit longer this day as will had my DGS use his voucher this day, and mom couldn't find his birth cert. No worries, they had to let a supervisor take over and do it, but they were very nice, and gave us no trouble. Rode everything that we hoped to, weather was awesome, lines from 5-20min, or we used fastpass. Stayed till 11:30 to get all we could out of one day.
Lots of teenagers, (they were well behaved!!) seemed really crowded, but very manageable if you used fastpass. Rides like SplMt were 100 min standby, other big ones 45-90 min at times. If we couldn't do FP, we checked back at a different time and did well.
I'm ready to go again, and my DGD3 has been asking since the day we left, if we could go back.![]()
