I know it's very early in the planning stages, but DW and myself are looking at visiting DLP next year. Our dates as they stand now would be May 10-16, 2009. I was just looking for some input from the experts here on the DIS as to your thoughts about traveling to DLP at this time of the year. Looking for input on weather, crowds, and anything else you can think of to help us out with our planning. Thanks in advance for all your help.:goodvibes

Hi

well its not UK holiday during that time so thats a good start :) as i think it gets very crowded at half terms / easter etc

not sure if its a French holiday though ?

some people have reported glorious sunshine in may ,others rain the whole time!

the weather is very hit n miss just as it is here in the UK !

Enjoy your planning :)

Hi!

When I was in Disneyland last year at this time, it was rainy and a
bit chilly. May has, on average, the most rainfall in Paris, apparently. I
had been there for my birthday.

This year, aftrer consulting with my friend who lived in Paris, I decided to
book my trip the first week of September, when it's usually less crowded
and also more sunny.

Our other option would be January. Would that be better than May:confused3

January is definatly cold, absoutley freezing lol.
But if you can handle the cold and rain then it really is a good time to go.
Very quiet, walk on rides etc....

Personally, I would choose May over January as the weather will be more clement then, plus the evenings will be lighter.
