May 2009 Crowds / Weather

I will be in WDW 5/19 through 5/29. What are the crowds and weather going to be like for that time period?

Crowds will range from moderate to slightly higher than moderate. May 22-25 will be pretty crowded due to Memorial Day weekend.

It is also the first weekend of Star wars weekend - so yeah i think crowds will be there - we are going May 23-30 there are 3 of us.

We were in Disney from 5/2-5/9. It was in the low 90's every day. No rain. It hit 95 degrees on Sat. 5/9. There were no crowds. Most rides were a 10minute wait. We waited the longest for the Dumbo ride which was about 45 minutes and that was at 9:45am.

Odd, I was there 5/5-5/10 and found the crowds a little larger than normal. 60 min for Soarin, 60 for TSM, 50 for Peter Pan, etc. There were still a good amount of lower waits, but some were even the longest I've seen (one day the line for It's A Small World was almost out the door! It was also much hotter than normal (and you are right, Saturday was VERY hot). I was told by my friend who lives there that it only started to get hot like 2 weeks ago.

I'm with you... we walked on most rides with less than a 15 mintue wait, but the big attractions had 45- 60 minute waits in the standby lines. We had fast passes for these rides (Soarin, TSM, Splash Mountain, Buzz Light Year). It was very very hot and the parks were crowded but manageable with fast passes.

Rides that we only waited a few minutes for: Barnstormer, Mad Tea Party, Snow White, Philharmagic, Monsters Inc Laugh floor).
