May 2009 code watch

We are planning May 12th to the 19th to celebrate or Baby's 2nd birthday,but things could change depending on rates etc... We had to cancel or Nov. trip
 
Hi everyone , we also want in on the may code watch.We will be at disney may 2-9th 2009 at pop. Just wanted to say hi to everyone and make some friends who are going in may, Any tips tracks advice swaps or codes are welcome...ps English rose. throw me in on your may lists
 

:wizard:How Photopass Share works:

1. Everyone will pay their portion when we close the group to new members.

The final amount will be calculated at that time:
Currently DW CD is $99.95+ $7 shipping that Disney charges to send the orignal CD. This works out to $21.39 pp as it stands right now with 5 people. We would then need to add approx $3.25 pp for Jewel Case/ CD ($.75), padded mailer ($.50) and postage ($2.00 approx)

Total cost=$24.64 as it stands now (updated 10/18)
Payment can be made with money orders sent to me or I can accept paypal. I will send emails to the email address everyone provided asking you to verify which payment method you will be using. If you chose paypal, I also sent a link to submit payment to me. If you want to mail payment, I will include my home address in my email to everyone.


2. Go on your trip and take LOTS of pictures! There is NO limit to the amount of pictures you can take! When you start your trip you will get a photopass card from any photopass photographer in the parks. Your photographer will then scan your card. Take as many pictures as you want !! Stop every photopass photographer you see. They are great opportunities to get the entire family in those pictures ! You can use multiple cards but it is easiest for you to try and use the same card as much as possible.

A great tip is to take a picture of the number on the back of your card or write it down somewhere. The cards are easy to lose, but the number is all you need to access any photos.

4. When you return home DO NOT create your own photopass account to view your photos If you create your own account with your pictures you will no longer be eligible for this Photopass share. You can either email me your photopass information and I will then enter it into our group account on your assigned upload days or you can enter your photopass #s into the group account yourself. I will email our group account login info to you on the night before your upload days. ( If you do enter your information into another account there will be no way for us to change this and you will then need to order your own photo cd).

5. Editting Info-We will assign everyone "upload days". That way, your pictures are kept together when they are entered into the system and your pics don't get mixed up with other familiy's photos. After you upload your pics on your assigned days, you are free to edit your pics up until the end of the share. All your edits will stay grouped with their original.

6. After everyone has entered/ editted their pictures, I will order our CDs from Disney. This will take about 2 weeks to arrive sometimes a little quicker. I will let everyone know as soon as I receive the CDs from Disney.

7. Once I get the CD from Disney, I will burn each family a CD of the vacation photos. I will TRY to send only your photos on a cd. If everyone follows along with the upload process correctly=) I will mail out everyone's CDs in a standard jewel case in a padded mailer.

The first post will be updated as people join and will also contain the days for uploading photos.

We just made our resevations for May 16 - 23rd at All Star Movies. There will be 4 adults and three children. Can't wait. We are hoping for a code or maybe "free dining" too.

I just got an email PIN offer from Disney for April 19, 2009 through May 21, 2009 for Value Resorts at $105 a night!
:cheer2: My very first PIN offer! I have signed up for every Disney thing that I could find and in the email it said "We’re delighted you’ve been making plans online with My Disney Vacation! Since you’re still looking for accommodations, we invite you to explore total Disney magic with a Disney Resort stay at an affordable rate."

Is this a good offer or should I hold out for a better one?
 
Anyone doing a Pop fridge swap in May? We are going the 6 to the 12th and we need to get a fridge.

Englishrose and I are both in one but your dates are taken in the one that we are in. Look at the sticky on the budget board and hopefully you'll find your dates available in one of them.

On the Disney website, the regular price for standard Value room is $105 per night...weekends are $115...so assuming the "deal" is they're giving you the $105 for all days, it's not going to save you much. Check the fine print...if it says the $105 is for Sunday-Thursday bookings, then they're not giving you any break on the rate at all? Is there something else they're giving like a free upgrade on ticket type or something?
 
Check out a Fridge swap thread the rules etc are all stated ! But in a nutshell It starts with so many people chipping in to buy a fridge and getting it for their dates then after that it is free to all others for available dates . The fridge is either passed directly from swapper to swapper or is stored at Luggage service till the next swapper picks it up! Now as the Value hotels charge $12 a day to rent you a fridge , this is a nice little savings !!
