So usual my Disney trips just consist of my fiance, and I (and sometimes my parents and aunt). This May when we were going it was the same time my df's brother and his wife's anniversary trip to Sanf Francisco, usual we babysit their 8 month old son so we decided we would babysit him in Disney. His parents were all for the idea of sending him to Disney with us so we planned it. Now I usual don't belive in taking young kids to Disney but I didn't want to cancle my tip and I wanted to babysit my future nephew.


I'm doing this trip review because I wanted to share my first time in Disney with a small child.


So here's all the info:

The Characters!!!!!

Me (Tara, 22)- Disney freak, this was my 28th trip. My parents instilled the love of disney in me at a very young age. My childhood revolved a lot around disney. I met my prince charming in hs and I'm marrying him in the world in Oct. 09.

Df (Joe,22)- My prince charming!!!! He's such a great guy and I know we where met to be together. He only went to disney once before we met but this was hs 12th trip with me.

DN (Cooper, 8 months)- Adorable 8 month old. I love this kid so much, he's such much like his uncle(my fiance). I was clearly more excited then him about his first trip!!!!!

We stayed at the Beachclub in a one-bedroom villas. The trip was from may 3-11!!!!! 8 days in disney with a 8 month old, I have no clue how I did it

I'll start on May 2nd, the day we left Ct. We had recieved our nephew the day before and were adjusting to life with a child. We got into our tahoe around 12 pm and left. Cooper was fine untill our first stop in Deleware, he didn't make a lot of noises and he slept for most of the way. When we stopped he explored the area and was soon ready to get back into the car. We all got back in and kept driving untill Virginia where we stopped for dinner. During this leg of the trip I sat with Cooper in the back and we played with some little games I got him. We had a nive dinner at Burger King, Cooper ate his baby food quickly and was really just looking to get back into the car. Since it would be getting dark out soon I thought that Cooper might be falling asleep in the car but he was only just waking up. Untill 1 am he was making a lot of sounds (almost like he was trying to have a conversation with us) and finally at 1 am he fell asleep for a few hours. We had breakfast at a McDonalds in Georgia, Cooper once again ate quickly and wanted to get moving again. We arrived in Florida alittle after 9am .Cooper didn't sleep for the rest of the trip after we reached Jacksonville, but he wasn't a problem and DF kept him entertained. We stopped in Deland around 11 am and got some food for lunch. Cooper ddin't want to stop at all (it was almost like he knew how close we were). Arolund 12 pm on the 3rd we made it to disney.



Next....check-in, shopping, and the first night
