The photo thing does take a long time! I always think I'll sit down and run through them quickly but it is really always many sessions to do all the editing. It's so worth it, though!

Before I begin to tell the story of what we did see and do in Walt Disney World, I will turn the TR around and tell you the things we did not see. Why?

Well, my mom has this friend who went to WDW with her children and grandchildren. They specifically went to Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney for exactly ... 1 day.

And my mom's friend said, "We've seen enough. We don't need to go back."

So this first chapter is dedicated to "Ruthie"

Even though we were at WDW for 10 days, we did not "see enough"...of course there was much more we didn't do/see but I hadn't planned on doing it (like Dinosaur or the Indy 500 Speedway). Nothing wrong with these rides but they were never on my "mental list".

Things I Missed (in no particular order)

1. Parades
- Dreams Come True (MK)
- Jungle (AK)
- Block Party (DHS)

2. Shopping at World Showcase
- This is the first time I did not shop the various countries, esp China and Japan where I always try to buy something like a small change purse or tote.

3. Touring Countries
- Along with missing the shopping at the countries, I also didn't get to just tour the countries, admire the architecture, sample the food, see the entertainment and take pictures.

4. Films
- O'Canada (new with Martin Short)
- France
- American Adventure (I heard this also has some new footage in it)

5. Voices of Liberty
- also Fife and Drum Corp

6. Japan Candy Lady

7. Rides, oops I mean Attractions and Character Meets
- Tom Sawyer Island
- Riverboats
- Snow White
- Nemo the Musical
- The Lion King
- A Bug's Life Playground
- Boneyard
- Beauty & the Beast
- Fantasmic
- Monsters Inc Character Meet
- Peter Pan Meet
- Captain Hook Meet
- Maelstrom
- Butterfly Garden
- Ladybug Release

Yeah, we did a lot of things, esp. considering we came back to the room everyday for DD's nap. Crowds were manageable and weather was nice the whole time...only a few hot days.

I'm just one of those people who never think there is enough time to explore Disney. I'd love to be on a reality show or part of a test experiment where you live at Disney (all expenses paid of course! ) until you are bored or tired of it.

I really can't imagine how long that would be ... esp if my family was with me...

Well, I just ordered my Photopass CD a few minutes ago (my 270 pics turned into 508 edited pics). That means I now have to go through all 1800+ pics that my DH and I took and sort through them. Then post them to photobucket.

So this is probably the only update for a few days while I sort through it all.

(Yes, my DH believes that you don't just take one or two pics but you take about 5-10 pics for every shot. I'm not harassing him over this -- I've seen the results -- pics #1, someone wasn't ready, pics #3 good, pics #5 my eyes are shut, pic #7 perfect!)
