May 2007 TR

Emma,

I just found your TR and am thoroughly enjoying it. You are a great writer and obviously very talented - congrats on those AP scores! :cool1:

We were at Disney the last week in June and stayed at Coronado Springs. We were probably a little closer to El Centro than you were, but it was still a trek up to the Pepper Market. Occasionally we took the bus and got off at bus stop 1, or you can get a ride on the golf carts, but they weren't always going our way! We loved staying there though. Did you know you could get your mug filled at the pool?

About hair wraps, I got my granddaughter's done in MK for $31. Her hair is not nearly as long as yours, but she did choose quite a few beads, so don't know how the price compares.

You seem to have a great family - hope you all have a fun weekend!

Great job on the AP scores! How many credits will you go into college with?
And a 5 is required to get out of physics? That sucks.
Are you allowed to tell us what college you're going to?

Way to go on the AP tests! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: That's a lot of college credit you've managed to get out of the way even before you arrive on campus!

BTW, I would not call a "4" in Physics a bad effort!

Congrats on the AP scores and thank you for a truly wonderful trip report! Your style of writing is very engaging and enjoyable to read. The Polynesian sounds great... I can't wait to stay there!!!

Wow, I had a lot to catch up on! You know that I'm diggin' your:

Resort hoppin'
iPod droppin' (you dodged a bullet there, girlie)
porch rail jumpin'
kitchen cleanin'
book defacin'
AG doll posin'
milkshake guzzlin'
hair wrappin'

Trip report.

And those AP scores are awesome, even if they don't like 4's in Physics.

And I wanted to mention that I have a Favorite New Poster to the DIS.
Welcome BobNoxious. That's a great board title!

Hey, maybe you can look at the scratches on your ipod as souveniers! At least they have a cool story to go along with them- much better than if something mundane had happened to it at home!

Congrats on your AP scores, too!

Emma-

You are doing a fabulous job on your TR. You have a wonderful gift of writing. I stumbled across this and have been reading and reading until I got all caught up to where you are. I love your devotion to your family and the love of Disney that you have. Your refilling Mugs & such at Pepper Mkt was great! I seriously would have done the very same thing.

Your love for your AG Dolls is refreshing! We too just received the new catalog this week and my dd 2.5 has been carrying it around with her...to swim lessons, Grammies house, play dates and the grocery store. I have been patiently...or not so patiently waiting to buy her, her very first AG doll for Christmas this year. I think we will need to start with a Bitty Baby, but Grammie wants to get her something 'special' from her, and I think I will suggest one of the 'big girl' dolls and keep it safe until she is ready.

Your AP scores are just spectacular! I hope that my children will be as gifted as you. I know that you wish you had gotten a better score on the Physics courses, but take it all in stride...at least when you do take it, you will have so much more knowledge than the others in the class...a jump start!

Keep up the great work!

Hey! Loooove your TR... (been lurking for a while now;) )

anyway I TOTALLY am with you about the whole reverse reverse psychology thing! It bugs the heck out of me, and you never can figure it out! Like the whole extra magic hour thing... so I've read you should avoid the parks that hold them for the day because EVERYONE will flock there while the other parks will be emptier. But I've heard people may have caught on and are starting to avoid the parks with the EMHs for that reason so they are emptier and worth while now!

Argh my head hurts :confused3

anyway... my boyfriend and I are going for a week in August and have planned on avoiding the parks with the EMHs... (maybe hopping for just the night ones on occasion  ) But did you notice anything in regards to whether the parks were more or less crowded with the EMHs?

The past three trips I've been using the right hand line for Pirates and it's been a walk on while the left hand line has a wait. It's really weird.
But so far, I like it!

Another great installment! :thumbsup2 Beautiful dress - I think I have a skirt almost the same!!! Mine looks the same as your dress but is dark blue with the white designs & silver sequins along the design! I can't tell in your pics - does your dress have silver sequins, too? It has to be the same designer/manufacturer...I'm not even sure I remember where I got mine from - I'm thinking TJ Maxx last summer. :)

So sorry to see your trip coming to an end.

Great chapter....

That really is a pretty dress.... glad to see you decided not to worry about what others think :thumbsup2

So....I have finally decided to come out of lurkdom and tell you that your trip report is awesome. :thumbsup2 As you can tell from my signature pic, my daughter is a big Sleeping Beauty fan as well. Because I'm such a Disney Princess nerd, my daughter has every single princess dress from the Disney Store. :) I can't wait to see her meet all her faves in September. Anyway, just wanted to tell you that you have done a fabulous job with this report!!
