May 2 event at MK????

Hi - I was wondering if anyone knew why they are closing the MK on Sunday May 2 at 7 pm??? I know that grad night is April 30 and May 1 - which is why they are closing early those nights ---- I find it curious that they are closing early (and hence NO fireworks, spectro) for a third night in a row....... I had read it was a Visa private party. Don't know if that is actually why though.

We are going at that time and was wondering the same thing. I knew that MK would close early Fri. and Sat. for Grad Nights but 3 day in a row...with no fireworks!! We were there last year at the same time (with 2 nights closing early) You can be sure that MK will be mobbed the nights they do have fireworks. However last year the crowds at the other parks were quite small.

Last summer Visa was running a contest, and the prizes were trips to WDW and a private party at the MK. The first weekend of may was the prize weekend. I used my Visa a lot, but didn't win!
