May 2, 2009~~~Magical MAYniacs!~~~ 7 day Western....Updated, April 3,2009!!

I believe that the said it was a Goldendoodle...If I recall correctly...Isnt it a cutie??!?!? I am very much an animal lover and thought that the face was just darling!!

I myself have a new puppy as well...a German Shepherd named Harley (after Harley Davidson) he is a handful but I love him. I will have to upload pics later if anyone wants to see him :goodvibes

Im wondering what everyone else is doing with their pets when they go on the cruise??? I am thinking of either boarding my pup at a Doggie daycare center either here or in Merritt Island (I have boarded my other dogs at the one in Merritt Island a long time ago and really liked it) so I am hoping I can bring Harley up with us and just board him there while we are gone, but it might be more practical to do it here instead :confused3

Our dog is named "Bentley", he is a 13 yr old. ****zu Lhaso Apso....he is staying at home with our kids (whichever of them happens to be living at our house). It will be our youngest for sure, she will take good care of him, although he always does a major freak out when he sees me packing. He doesn't like being left behind. If I leave the suitcases open on the floor in the bedroom, he sleeps in them:confused3 I have to remember to close the top when I am not around. :)

Yeah!!! Ashlotte, you and I are going to be neighbours after the cruise!!!! Yep, we are at the BWV!!! :goodvibes

Here is Harley and Chris (Harley is the puppy) He is a German Shepherd, cant believe that he is only 8 weeks old...He is one big puppy!! :thumbsup2

Gobble Gobble Gobble to ya' all!

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:  That was too funny!!!!Sounds like my dog and cat together :lmao:

I was able to get my laptop back up and running :worship: Well let me rephrase that...MIKE (My hubby) was able to get it back up and running. I had to change out the battery, it went dead and thankfully hubby had bought a new one just a few weeks before (although we hadnt put the new one in yet) so anyhoo he did that and now it works just fine :confused3 Although I still dont trust it completely...you know how computers go...the moment hubby (or in most cases...computer guys) leave, thats when they act up again

Well Harley got some good socialization in today....we took him up to the thanksgiving parade that they have just down the road from us...It was good for him. Lots of police sirens and Ambulance sires and motorcycles and kids and bands and such...he did GREAT!! He did get scared when the drums went by from the bands but other than that, he did excellent!! So I am happy with that...I cant have him turn out to be a 95 pound coward :rolleyes1 LOL or a brat in public so It is good to get him well socialized for every type of situation. :thumbsup2

Well I am soooo tired, I am off to get myself into bed under the comfy comforter :cloud9: G'Night Magical Mayniacs :grouphug:

Hey There Magical Mayniacs...how is everyone doing today???Its a nice Friday here...not too hot :worship:

Just popping in to say HI to everyone :thumbsup2

Hi there-

I just got back from an 8-day cruise on Carnival to the Mexican Riviera. Went with my 3 & 1/2 y-o DD, 9 mo DS, DH & friends with their 3 & 1/2 y-o son. When we left the Disney boat last year our DD cried that she had to leave. On this trip she kept asking when we could go home. It was an interesting trip with a few great highlights but overall, it was a lot of work & the service was really lacking. I don't think I'll ever cruise Carnival again. The whole time I kept trying not to compare everything, "The daily reports are better on Disney. The room service is better on Disney. The room stewards are friendlier on Disney. The entertainement is better on Disney..." And on, and on and on...

It just makes me all the more excited for our Disney cruise in May!

WOW thanks for letting us know how different the cruise lines are...I was wondering how the other cruise lines are (Ive never cruised anything other than Disney). Im glad though that it left you guys waiting for the Disney cruise more anxiously though. :thumbsup2 Thanks for the headsup and welcome back home

ZeroG-Check your in-laws' rate again! Ours dropped another $200, and we got another adjustment! So, we are now paying $2439 for the 3 of us! Not bad considering I was content paying $3039 2 weeks ago:-).

To anyone else, I have a Cat 12 GTY, and it looks like that's the only ones being discounted at this time. So if you also have one, check your rates!

Now if only fuel prices stay steady 1 more week, we'll all get $133 back in the form of OBC:-).

Thanx once again for the helpful information. Dreams Unlimited dropped the price from $1800 to $1500. My In-Laws were very happy to get this news. If I see you on the ship, I may have to buy you a Bingo Card.. :thumbsup2

I don't know about you, but I am a little worried about trying to adjust to "real life" after two weeks of Disney. I guess I'll have to start planning a return trip to cut down the sadness of leaving.

LOL!!! I am one step ahead of you, already booked for September!!!! :thumbsup2

Why didn't I think of that!

I think our next Disney trip will be to Disneyland again. It is so much closer to us. But I must start mentally planning when I will get to go back to The World!

I am seeing a lot of posts going around about people getting money back because the price of their cruise dropped. Is that only some categories and cruises? We booked a cat 8 and so far, everytime I look on the DCL website, it is still expensive. Did I miss something? :confused3

You didn't miss anything, the only discount is for Cat 12's and I think perhaps a few 11's, but anything else has not been discounted. Oh well, just think though......WE ARE ALL GOING ON A CISNEY CRUISE
