I must be missing something, it's not giving me the option to book Air at all. Can't even see on my reservation where it would let me book the Air!

Wonder if it's because I'm trying to book it from the UK?

I went to here to book. Do you use a different site in the UK?

From there I changed my currency to pounds, in case that is making a difference for you, and chose the transatlantic and May. The next screen gave me the EBTA. I did "continue" from the 11B (just picking what's cheapest).

The next screen I got had a list of things on the left for customizing your cruise. One of them is adding air travel. I clicked that. Then I get a screen that looks mostly the same, but towards the middle of the screen I have to click "add air travel". If I choose London, Heathrow it says that it's not available. If I choose my home airport, Portland, Oregon, it adds it. You might need to play around with airports and see if any are available from your neck of the woods.

I am still waiting on Air prices from Sacramento, it seems so random on how they do the prices. They have prices out for Reno, Orange County and San Jose which are all small airports but no Sacramento. I did find that they have a price out for Sacramento for the Europe cruise. I found that the price for San francisco and Sacramento are the same for the europe cruise so I am hoping the price is about the same as the price for our cruise from San Francisco which is $1162. I found it odd also that the fllight for our cruise in and out of orange County is about $300 more than the other cities. I keep checking every day hoping it will pop up and I can get a price.:rolleyes1

Thanks for that, I can see the Air now, but no flights from any UK airports as of yet :-(

I hope that you get yours as well, just want to have the "its done feeling". My ta leaves out of town on Sat. for a week cruise so I am sure that it will pop up that same day when I won't be able to do anything for another week.

We can almost say it is a year away:yay::yay:!!

Soooooo I've done something quite bad..... :-D

We have a extra bank holiday here in the UK in June for our Queens Diamond Jubilee on Tuesday the 5th June and there is already our normal early summer bank holiday on the 4th of June so we have only had to book 3 days off work for a full week off and decided we wanted to go away.

First of all we decided we wanted a relaxing all inclusive but struggled to find anything decent for a good price as its the school holidays as well that week so we were finding prices of £900+ pp for a 3 star hotel in Spain. Didn't really want to pay that so we started to look at city breaks and found a great price for Abu Dhabi and very nearly booked that but decided the heat at that time of year would put us off.

So we started browsing again and stumbled across a couple of cruises - one on the Grand Princess departing on the 2nd June from Southampton and going to Bruges, Oslo and Copenhagen. The other is also departing on the 2nd June from Southampton, its the P&O Azura and its going all up the Fjords.

We started reading all of the reviews and decided to book the P&O Azura because of the itinerary and the ship. We nearly booked it on Tuesday night when it was £699 pp for an inside cabin but we left it until the Wednesday....very glad we did as the price dropped to £529 pp! Been reading on Cruise Critic that people who booked this cruise a year ago have paid £1200 each for a inside cabin.

So we are very much looking forward to it, the EBTA was going to be our first cruise ever so this is a bit of a practice run before it now ;-)

Happy Easter and Passover to all.

I have been working on a cruise website. I'll post the link when I get it to a state fit for viewing.

Congratulations on your great bargain! This has been a very good summer for cruise deals - especially in Europe. I am also cruising to Norway in June - on Royal Caribbean. :woohoo:

We did a RC cruise to Norway from England a few years ago. There was a stop in Amsterdam & France as well! Enjoy!

On another note, our TA has asked for FULL payment for this EBTA cruise by Jan. 11, not the usual 90 days ahead. Did DCL change its policy?

Thanks! This cruise is round-trip from Amsterdam, and it's all Norway.

I haven't paid attention to the final payment date, so I checked my confirmation just now. Mine says January 18, 2013. Your travel agent may want the payment made by Jan. 11 to make sure it gets processed on time. I know longer cruises and special itineraries have been due farther out than 75 days, so I'm not surprised.

Your cruise sounds wonderful, we thought the fjords in Norway were spectacular!

Thanks for the final payment info, this is the first time we've used this particular agent, and I'm glad to confirm the date with you.

Hi everyone. My Dad (Ray) and I (David) booked this cruise when we were on board the Fantasy last week. Now all we need to do is try and work out what to do about flights.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Tammy - You might remember us from the inaugural Baltic cruise where we did the St Petersburg tour with you. :goodvibes

For the roll call we are in stateroom 7534 and we are late dining.

Thank you...we are very much looking forward to it :cool1:

When dates are you on your cruise? Have you been before?

Exciting! :)

Like Nancy, our payment date with DCL is also Jan 18th.

The Fantasy was absolutely great. We're at Animal Kingdom Lodge at the moment so all I've been able to do is put a few sneak peek photos on the UK Community board - look for my thread called 'The Fantasy surf and turf trip has started'. I'll be doing a proper trip report when we get home on Thursday. :goodvibes
