May 17, 2009 4 Nights of Wonder!!

Hello anyone cruising the May 17 4 night Wonder cruise. My family will be cruising that week celebrating my completion of Graduate school. Our group will include
Me, DH, DD 10 and DS 8
also my parents, sister and her family as well as an aunt and cousin.

this will be my 3rd cruise. My husband has already warned me he doesn't want to hear about the trip nonstop for the next 15 months so I need so fellow cruise mates to chat with so hop on Board

Congrats on grad school! And what a nice way to celebrate!!! I was several months pregnant when graduation came for my Masters. I just wanted to skip the ceremony and sleep .

Well, I can't believe nobody has signed up yet. We haven't either....but I have been browsing the other meet threads, just out of curiousity to see what people were doing. It looks like the 7 day cruises sign up earlier. I guess cause they cost so much more and you have to plan ahead.

Our dates are flexible, but I just cannot decide which cruise.....but I wanted to congratulate you on your hard work!!

Our first cruise was May of '08, which consisted of my family (DW, DS-3, DD-1), my sister's family (DH, DS-6, DS-4), and our parents. We had so much fun that we rebooked on the ship for a trip (on the 17th, obviously), without the kids!



We'll see how the adults-only trip goes, but the six of us can't wait!

Ill be on this Cruise as well, with DHusband and DMom... i am will be celebrating Graduating with my CMA-AAMA degree !!! i cant wait. this will be all of ours 1st crusie and so so so excited!!! Congratulations on completing graduate school.

we'll be on the 17th cruise - i just had to move us from the 10th (the podcast cruise) to the 17th...

it will be me, my mom and my sister....
DH, DD, and DS will be staying at home this time around...

My DH used up so much vacation time on our last DCL Cruise (Dec., 2007) that he still doesn't have any time off, so I asked a girlfriend to join me. This will be my 8th DCL Cruise (7 on Wonder, one on Magic) and her first. We're both 55+ years old, will be celebrating both of our birthdays (hers is 5/22 and mine is 5/23) on board, and then again at WDW afterward!

This was a spur of the moment decision. She's had a run of bad luck, and I just need to get away for a while, so what better thing to do?

I can't wait to meet you all!

we are going on 4 night wonder on may 17th too. it will be me (mom) and my son and daugther and my other daugther and new husband. it is our first cruise. we are celebratiing my daugthers wedding on may 2nd and her college graduation on may 14th. my son is a really big disney fan. as he said he can't wait to go on the big boat and give mickey a hug! we are really excited about going!!!

I posted a reply to your message on the other board, too. I'll always have my Lime Green Mickey Head on my bag or purse (or somewhere visible), I'll have one on my door, and I'll usually be with Grandma Bear and her teddy bear, TB.

Radisson is sold out and so is the Residence Inn.

Can't wait....I can't stop reading up and checking info on the cruise

Thanks! I told Grandma Bear that you loved him...of course, he'll be joining us on the cruise, so you'll meet him.

We were lucky enough to get a room at the Radisson for the night before the cruise. I'm sure someone will have a good suggestion!

Hi there
I posted the info on a fish extender on the other group.
If anyone else is interested on this board, a fish extender is... You hang it on the metal fish decor right outside your stateroom door. It can be used for mail delivered by Guest Services, for notes to each other, or most people use it for little gifts to one another (gum, candy, pens, pencils, stickers, etc...)
A little extra fun for the kids

Anyone want to participate?
