May 16-May 23 DISers Only

We're leaving 5/18!!!! I'm toooo excited!!!

We just got a call from our travel agent today that our ME documents were in and could be picked up. That made my day!!!

I have not started to pack yet, I will do that this weekend. I still have things to get before I can even start.. I need to get on the ball.

We leave on May 21-27, I am already 75 percent packed, and have not received any of our tags yet :confused3 We are looking forward to Soaring, and Mission Space. :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Well be with all of you guys on the 18th, till the 26th. First half is at the CBR and the second half is at the AKL. It's our honeymoon!! *glows happily* It's my 12th WDW trip and my DH's 3rd.

We have started to pack things like shampoo, conditioner, medicine (Aspirin, allergies, etc.), reservation information, tickets, etc. Were going to pack up some of our clothes tomorrow and finish it up this Sunday. (We leave Tuesday morning.)

This will be our first trip to Orlando and WDW (Me, DH, DS-6, DD-4). We're staying offsite at Cypress Pointe, May 15-21.
I have been planning this trip for about a year now and I can't believe we will actually be on our way in just 5 days!! I don't know what I'll do when we get back home... seems like I've spent every night for so long on the internet, perusing these boards.

Yep! Started packing yesterday. I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!!! I have to pack early so I don't wear all the clothes I had originally intended to take with me. I will wait until friday to pack toiletries, though. Did get my luggage tags, too.

BTW, I guess I better change my screen name because I am no longer a
nurse 2B, but, officially a BSN; I graduated Saturday!!!! Yipee!!!!!

We'll be on the first Air Tran flight to Orlando out of Newark (NJ) on May 20. That means we'll have to leave our house on the last train through our station on Thursday night (around midnight) and spend a couple of hours at the airport. It's not as bad as it sounds, we live about thirty feet from the train station!

We'll be at PO Riverside until 5/24, celebrating my birthday on 5/23 at Chefs de France in Epcot. I'm also going to try to see Fantasmic on 5/22. We've never seen it!

We haven't started packing yet, but we travel a lot, so packing is no big deal. I always have a bag of toiletries ready to go, and we're not taking much for four nights. Still haven't heard from DME, but I'm not worried about it.

We've lost track of how many trips we've made to WDW, it's well over 30, and we've been traveling there since the summer of 1978.

flying out monday for POR. all packed except for last minute stuff. is this the longest week of the year or what???

We are going 5/14 - 5/21, and I have almost finished packing. We have to do it late a night, since DD7 and DS5 don't know we are going. I can't believe we have gotten away with it for this long....that and other family members have not given it away!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We will be there for our wedding at Cypress Grove Park and then honeymoon at Disney, May 18-27th staying at WL.

We haven't started packing yet. Still have some shopping to do this weekend.

DH2B is doing Dive Quest on Friday, May 20th. He is soooo excited! :cool1:

We can't wait!

Add us to the growing list!

May 18th - 22nd. Going for Star Wars weekend. Decided to opt out of the midnight showing of ROTS but do have tickets for Thurs night. Lets just hope the lines are much less than Celebration 3!

We're going on 5/20! This is our 3rd trip.......this year. We just couldn't resist that SW airfare! We're getting plenty of mileage from our annual passes. It's an anniversary trip for DH and I. DD starts college next year, so this is our last trip for awhile. No ME tags yet!

15-22 at POR
myself, wife one room (both 25)
bro in law and his friend in another (both 23)
they just graduated from undergrad, we just finished law school
Dont have to worry about ME tags 'cause were driving the 12 hours overnight then sleeping in the parking lot till check in. Should be an adventure

We will be there 16th - 23rd. Boardwalk Inn! :cool1:

Our DS9, DS7, and DD4 have no idea we are going...It's getting harder and harder to conceal it! :)

Does anyone know what kinds of Star Wars activities there will be? Our DS's think they are going to the movies that week here at home...little do they realize... :earseek:

Also, what is "Soarin"?

Thanks all! Hope to see some of you there!

Have you checked out allearsnet.com There is lots of info on Star Wars Weekends-just click on Theme Parks, then MGM, then Special Events.

Soarin'-This new attraction sends you on a sweeping flyover above the wondrous Golden State for a birds-eye view of the rich landscape and topography. Soarin' is the newest addition to The Land pavilion at Epcot, complementing the popular pavilion's agriculture and ecology theme.

The unforgettable experience combines cinematic artistry and state-of-the-art motion base technology. You are literally lifted 40 feet inside a giant projection screen dome and completely surrounded with the beauty and wonder of the state of California as their elevated theater seats take them on a scenic tour over the Golden Gate Bridge, the Redwood forests, Napa Valley, Yosemite and more. The free-flight experience intensifies as guests feel the sweeping winds and smell fragrant orange blossoms and pine trees around them.
