How will the crowds be during this time? What about star wars?

This is the time we went last year and crowds seemed to be picking up. If you got to the parks early in the AM we had no problems getting right onto the rides. Star Wars weekend was busy - the longest line was saw I think was for the Jedi mickey. It was close to 2 hours.

We're going to be there the 17th-23rd. What is going on with Star Wars? I didn't realize it was going on.

We were there about that same time last year. The crowds were on the small side. The only big crowd was on Sunday for Star Wars Week-end at MGM. That didn't bother us as we went that day just for that. The real crowds were around the Star Wars area. Star Wars Week-end is very cool, I think the crowds were so large because the movie had just come out. It In 2004 there were people there but nothing like last year. We wanted to buy SW t-shirts in 2005 and they were sold out of adult sizes by lunch. If you go on a week-end in May and do not care about Star Wars just go to another park and it should be fine. But it really is worth a look at all they have during this time.

Regarding Star Wars Weekends, there will be large crowds at MGM for SWW related events but regular attractions like Tower of Terror or anything else should be at "normal" crowd level.
