So we JUST booked this sailing! So excited!

It is Mom (Patty) and I (Kristi)

For Key West we booked nothing as we want to see the Hemmingway House

Grand Cayman is the Island Tour from 11:30-1:30

Cozumel is Cozumel Highlights and Mayan Ruins from 12:15-4:45

Castaway is a float rental day. I just did the Stingray thing this past weekend there, and while very cool, I don't like fish touching me LOL!

No problem! I actually tried to round it out myself several weeks ago, but my program kept screwing it up! I finally just gave up and haven't ever even tried again.

One suggestion though... Would you be willing to change the date to 5/16/2009 instead of 6/16/2009?

BTW I got my "docs" today. But, they aren't anything exciting. Basically the booklet looks like the front page was torn out (?) and none of the other forms in it actually apply to us. (We don't have any flight check-ins or transfer needs...) I'm wondering if the fact that I already did the credit card stuff and online forms played a role... Anyway, at least we got a useless booklet and 4 luggage tags! I guess that's enough to make it official!!!

I am asking for you guys to keep me in your thoughts and prayers tomrrow. I had a major surgery back in Nov 2007 that is failing. I found out last Thursday and have to go in tomorrow so they can look inside with a camera to see the extent of the damage. I have told the specialist that I am not having surgery before Memorial Day. THere is no way that I am going to miss this trip. I will probably schedule surgery on May 27th (we get back on the 25th). It wil put me down fora few weeks with restricitions for 6. At least I'll still be on a Disney high at the time! I'll be in the hospital drugged up with Morphine but really I'llbe on cloud 9 from the trip, not the Morphine!!

Real quick- Paid our Cruise tips today: $168 for 2 of us. So glad that's out of the way!! Great idea (sorry forgot who posted to do it)

Anyone know anything else you can pay for in advance?? Can you pay your excursions in advance or is it best to wait?

Thanks for the reminder! I just called and added mine as well!

Also, I mailed my FE gifts (minus the "food" items) yesterday. I'm praying they make it to the ship, otherwise I'll have lots of "gifts" that I won't need after thr trip! If it comes back, I'll let everyone know! (I'm mainly paranoid about the bubbles I sent for some of the kids...)

You can put as much as you want towards your onboard account, which includes excursions. I figured the anticipated full cost of our excursions, palo, and daily extras, subtracted my TA on board credit and the disney gift card we are bringing to put towards our costs, and then paid the rest in full.

We haven't gotten our Docs yet. I am sure like so many of you, I am sitting at work and it hits me, We are going to be leaving for our cruise soon! So exciting. Plus work will start getting easier. I work at a college and the kids will be gone soon!
I tell DH he needs to be deciding what he is going to do formal night so I can decide what I will be wearing. But than maybe I should decide and he will have to follow MY lead!

This is great! Your a real . I just got really sad reading the farewell bfast and group photo. I think were gonna have to book another DC w/ this group. Everyone is so wonderful on here.

Lynsey --the mini navigator looks good. You are so wonderful for doing this! I will post a refresher on who is doing the tastings tomorrow night or Wed morning if that is ok. I can email it to you too. I am in the office tomorrow so shouldn't really login to DIS from there.

Sounds great, I understand the frustration of not being able to check the boards at work!

To be on deck 10, we wouldn't meet by the pizzeria (that's deck 9). We usually always stand on deck 10 in the back middle.

We will definately be thinking of you!!! My thoughts for the sail away and pirates party was deck 9 (pizzeria) and 10 (right about that area). I thought it might be a place we could hook up and then break off as we wanted. Deck 9 would be for those that want right in the middle of the action and Deck 10 would be for those that are more the observer types!!!

Also, I think that you can post our names/ages in the mini-nav and for the FE. I will just tell DH that I told that info before I knew how he felt (which is true anyway!). Thanks again!!

Shew, I'm soo glad to hear about your docs because ours are the same way and I was a little worried. The last page even says "Cruise and Airline Contracts" and then there's nothing else. I'm also hoping this is because we have done everything online. I might just have to do the pre-paid tips things, I'm still debating on whether to go ahead and order a photo package or not....

I'm kind of weird in that I don't like to buy more than 1 or 2 photos on trips because I find that I have nowhere to put all of them! (I'm not a scrapper-type either...)
That was just my experience, but at least the tips are paid!!!

Hi guys! I'll need to play catch up tomorrow because I didn't get a chance to get back on since the appt this afternoon until now, but I'm wanting my bed pretty bad, so I just thought I'd pop in for a quick update on Lennon.

It wasn't as obvious to the doc when we got there, so he wasn't sure it's even a hernia, but he said there's definitely swelling where there could have been one. *sigh* We're just going to keep a real close eye on it and try to reduce it ourselves if it comes back. The good news, though...for now, no surgery!! But I'm just frustrated that it's still questionable as to what it is.

I obviously missed several pages of posts this afternoon & evening, so I'll read them tomorrow & get caught back up!

Val - glad the news was pretty good. At least you are just in a wait and see instead of a "you should be getting to the hospital NOW"

WELCOME!! I'm impressed with all the new cruisers that we've picked up. I can't imagine booking so close to the actual cruise. I need WAY more planning time.

DH called me at work letting me know that we received a package from DCL! I can't wait to get home to open it!!!! I just may skip going to the gym after work....

Anyone know what the cancellation policy is for the excursions? We might need to cancel the snorkel trip but don't want to wait too late.

Just got power back on in the house after three hours. Wouldn't be too bad except we've been having a heat burst (in the 90s) so our upstairs is a huge oven and I want to cool the place down before we try to get to sleep. Hopefully the power will be on the rest of the night so Jim doesn't run off to a sports bar to watch the Sharks/Ducks game - Come on Andy let us win ONE?
