Ok, I have a little better idea of our plans now. Here are my plans, as booked, so far:

Key West - Just hanging out, since it's our home state and we've never been there yet

Castaway Cay - Decided not to book anything, so we can just hang, have fun & explore

Grand Cayman - Seven Mile Beach Break

Cozumel - Cozumel Beach Break

I plan on trying to kayak (or something like it) on one of the beaches, but I would like to do it more spur of the moment while there.

When we booked our cruise, Palo was already all booked up, so no go there unless something comes up while already on the ship.

Group Photo- A time for the whole group to meet in the atrium stairs for a photo. Maybe if someone has a tripod we could just use the one camera and that person could e-mail the pic to everyone after the cruise?

I think this looks fantastic. You can list us on whatever. We're renting bikes in CC so we'll be good for that meet (as long as the timing works out for Andy and the Geocaching).

Are there any that would be interested in company just drinking coffee and talking in the early am? I know my DH will be doing just that, somewhere... waiting for the rest of us to get ourselves together for breakfast. He eats very often during the day so I imagine he will get a "bite" to go with his coffee and eat breakfast with us. Any other diabetics in the group? Any other smokers? Although we all know he shouldn't for LOTS of reasons he still sneaks one a few times a day...

Depending on when I wake up, I'll probably be joining the walking group, but if Jim wakes up early he'll probably head for coffee - Cove Cafe or the beverage station.

No documents for us today either I did get a bunch of stuff checked off our list. Uploaded over 2 days worth of music to the iPod) Spent a good couple of hours trying to read over legal documents (we've never had wills done and we figured since we are leaving the boys alone we need to get it all set up - and with Steven's disability it makes it more complicated by needing to set up a special needs trust) I hate reading legalese...

Cinda - any news from Val? Let us know as soon as anyone hears.

I wonder when I'll get my docs, since I just booked. Actually I'm not even sure what the docs will be since it's been so long since I booked a cruise, and it was only once! I filled out all the online stuff, so far.

No docs for us either. I was bummed when Yoni got the mail and there was nothing (but a bill *sigh*).

I am very worried about Val. Val -- let us know how things worked out at the dr today please. We are all praying for the best.

Ok, so, I just saw the movie, Twilight for the first time. After reading the books twice now, was not impressed. Yoni on the other hand thought it was pretty entertaining so, my advice to those of you who may be interested but haven't read the book or seen the movie -- see the movie first, otherwise you will be disappointed.

I got a lot done on our FE gift tonight. I am making some real progress. Also jazzed that I have almost all of Sabrina's clothes bought. I will go shop for comfy sandals tomorrow during lunch.

Ok -- off to bed, work in the office tomorrow which means I have to do the full setup (makeup, hair, real clothes) -- it takes so long to get ready compared to working in a tshirt and shorts!

I just checked it out and read two threads that are not cool

2) Disney has put in effect a new policy about booking excursions. Apparently someone on the Board just called Chankanaab to book directly with them for the dolphin discovery (saving $200 over Disney) & everything was all good until they mentioned the Disney Cruise & then they were not allowed to book. They said that Disney has a new policy that none of their guests can book directly with the location & MUST book via Disney (and Pay $200 more)!!!
One DISer is super upset because Disney wont allow younger kids under 5 to participate & the park does so they were going to book with the park, but no go.

I was one of the first to find this outa few weeks ago when I called to book. I was livid! I am going to have to just put cruise and not DISNEY cruise. Why should we have to lie to book something that we should be able to book on our own?!?!

To be on deck 10, we wouldn't meet by the pizzeria (that's deck 9). We usually always stand on deck 10 in the back middle.

Haha! I am holding out with my daughters to see it on the ship! I'm gonna save $30 if we can hold out! They love the songs and my little one is trying to learn the dance! It's so funny!

I am asking for you guys to keep me in your thoughts and prayers tomrrow. I had a major surgery back in Nov 2007 that is failing. I found out last Thursday and have to go in tomorrow so they can look inside with a camera to see the extent of the damage. I have told the specialist that I am not having surgery before Memorial Day. THere is no way that I am going to miss this trip. I will probably schedule surgery on May 27th (we get back on the 25th). It wil put me down fora few weeks with restricitions for 6. At least I'll still be on a Disney high at the time! I'll be in the hospital drugged up with Morphine but really I'llbe on cloud 9 from the trip, not the Morphine!!

Hi guys! I'll need to play catch up tomorrow because I didn't get a chance to get back on since the appt this afternoon until now, but I'm wanting my bed pretty bad, so I just thought I'd pop in for a quick update on Lennon.

It wasn't as obvious to the doc when we got there, so he wasn't sure it's even a hernia, but he said there's definitely swelling where there could have been one. *sigh* We're just going to keep a real close eye on it and try to reduce it ourselves if it comes back. The good news, though...for now, no surgery!! But I'm just frustrated that it's still questionable as to what it is.

I obviously missed several pages of posts this afternoon & evening, so I'll read them tomorrow & get caught back up!

I almost asked for one of those princess tiaras for myself, be remembered something I have to share: a few months ago my sister and I were at Disney World waiting to check out at one of the stores. I grabbed two tiaras and we each put one on. I asked her if she thought we looked like princesses, and she paused, looked at me, and said "no, I think we look like elderly, deranged strippers." We laughed till we cried on that one.

JorDan -- you crack me up! Sabrina is going to see it with my neice next weekend for my neice's birthday party. I even got her a Hannah Montana outfit to wear from the Disney store. I am sure there are plenty of girls to go see it with on the cruise!

That is too funny!!! Didn't we talk about wearing tiaras to formal night? Who was that? JorDan? Lynsey? I don't remember. I think it is FUN! I think we should all wear tiaras. Why not? Even if we look like elderly deranged strippers -- at least we will be a group instead of solo "dancers".

OMG!! Just checked the DCL website, and the price of our Cat 8 has dropped almost $1400!!!! I called my TA ASAP to have her check on getting the amt refunded. She wasn't sure since it's past final pmt date and also so close, but she's going to try!! (FINGERS ARE CROSSED!!!!) Have any other previous cruisers ever gotten the difference in price adjusted? Maybe I'll post on the main cruise board, too.

BTW, I have a huge list of catching up to post, but don't have time right now. Will have to do it later...

Oh dear, I hope everything goes well! I know very little medically but my dad did have a hernia last year. The pain got so bad he had to go to the emergency room. They tried to push it back into his abdomen and when they did it split his small intestine. So needless to say he was in the hospital for a week with a few month of recovery. So I'd probably also say that is he isn't having and pain hold off on surgery until after the cruise.

Like I've said I'm going to print out enough copies so that there will be one per stateroom. I will also e-mail a copy of the mini navigator after the cruise so you all can have it for your momentos. I know on Jane's spreadsheet she has been tracking the adult names, kids names, cabin number, etc. I just wanted to make sure that if you want your names/celebrations listed to please let either her or I know. Also, if your name is on the spreadsheet and you don't want it listed please let me know that too. I would hate to add your information and you not want that disclosed.
