I have no idea how the connecting rooms work or even guaranteed rooms until I booked that category. Maybe if nothing can be done prior could you mention something at the port???

I have been on the phone non stop. We are Room 6004 Forward,and my kids are 6109 Aft.i spoke with as supervisor . They said they can not fix this. I also tryed my TA no luck . We are really upset i just want to be near my kids. These are our kids not our friends or cousins. I am trully disappointed w/ the way it is being handeled. We were never told we wouldn't be near each other. I don't know what more we can do. My husband wants to cancell except that we would lose our $.

just keep trying. good luck! ask if you are willing to be back in the 12s if you could be close together, (if they are even close to one another) this way someone else is getting pixie dust while you get what you want. i really hope everything works out for you.

we have four rooms- booked gt 12, and got 4 cat 9's!! all on deck 1 and 2 sets of rooms each next to each other. 1032, 1034 and 1040 and 1042. i can not believe it.

do you think it will be real rough? i don't care just want to prepare the little ones and the other adults that had not cruised before. just so happy to have the bath and a half again!!

There really is no rhyme or reason to this upgrade thing. we have 4 rooms with 3 people in 2 rooms, and 2 rooms with 2 people in it. 2 rooms have sailed previously, 2 have not sailed before.

Just got home from work and the gym and saw everyone getting their rooms and my heart started beating like I was having an anxiety attack. You would have thought I was getting ready to talk in front of 1,000 people!!! So I check and you will never believe it we are in room 2530!!!!! We are all so close that is soo nice! I think I need to pinch myself a few time and I'm sure I'll keep checking the reservation page to make sure it doesn't change on me!

Wow! That's pretty cool! I can't help but wonder if our dinner-linking played a role in this! I'm really excited now! (I almost have my FE gift box ready to mail...just got to go buy a few more items!)

Wow! That's pretty cool! I can't help but wonder if our dinner-linking played a role in this! I'm really excited now! (I almost have my FE gift box ready to mail...just got to go buy a few more items!)

It might have helped, pretty crazy! We won't have very far to deliver some of the FE gifts! It's nice to know who's going to be on the other side of our connecting door. Sometime connecting doors make me nervous in hotels!

Crystal- Is there any possible way to see if there are any rooms to upper or lower categories. Maybe if there are 2 rooms together in a little higher category the upgrade price might not be too bad, at least it would be worth! I'd definately keep trying each day, you never know when you might get ahold of just the right person.

i know i still have to pay for the bracelets- i do not have a pay pal account so i have to get one. i did not forget.

anyone with any kids age 11 or so? i am looking for my daughter to start chatting with someone pre cruise so she has someone to go to the club with.

i am so behind i have not even figured out excursions

Cinda -- think it is a stomach bug. Yoni got over it last week -- this is way worse than the cleanse. Stopping the cleanse and just hoping to not dehydrate. Back to bed....

well we booked cat 12 and both my mom and I got two cat 11's on deck 6 6101 for us and 6111 for her. I am happy - this will sound terrible, but I hate the layout of having to walk around the bed.....I think the 3 totally spoiled us. Will be odd for us without the two bathrooms, but no worries!!

They want me to make changes with someone in our group to getr closer rooms. OMgosh how can this be.Is anyone on here Named Reyes or Hodges?? If so what room # do u have ,and are you willing to switch rooms down the hall? I can not believe i have to figure this out myself. what am i paying for? I tryed to get my original two cat 12's but they said that means nothing. Someone please wake me from this crazy dream.

I told them just as you, NO!!! we are linked with them for dinner only!!!

I don't understand their system either. They told me I could pay for an upgrade for $1100.00. I said, NO THANK YOU! It's not that important!

I'm just thankful that Andy and Ashley are right next door That will make it all worth it!!!
I truly hope this works out for you. You truly have the right to be frusterated.

Happy Easter!

I had a really nice day at my Mom's with my Brother and Sister-in-law and cousins family. My Mom's a full-blooded Italian and doesn't leave anyone hungry -- EVER. She made beef stew with egg noodles, stuffed shells with meatballs and Italian sausage, spinich casserole, asparagus, butternut squash, turnips and carrots baked in the oven, sauteed zuchinni and yellow squash, mashed potatoes, cauliflower and cheese sauce, ham, gravy, lamb (special gravy my brother made with fresh mint). And that was just the main buffet spread. For dessert she had chocolate cream pie with fresh whipped cream, plain bunt cake with strawberries and said optional cream, brownies, ice cream and cheesecake. My Mother can feed and army without blinking an eye!

It was all delicious. I'm sure she had enough that you could have all been there and there still would have been leftovers. The wine, beer and port was flowing and it was really fun.

I hope you all had a great Sunday!

Thank you all so much for your kind words and pixie dust. We really appreciate it. It's been a tough 5 days and we have more ahead of us. I've put updates on our blog. It's easier to post in one place cause I really can't use both hands right now. I'm gaining a bit of movement in my left hand and have an IV on my right. UGH! I'm feeling pretty helpless.. other than that I feel really good today. I go to the Dr tomorrow for a checkup. Hopefully only have to do the IV treatments until Friday. It's a pain, Have to do it every 6 hours and it takes an hour each time.
My poor hubby!! He has alot on his plate. His grandma's funeral is Wednesday. Now his best friend has split from his wife and staying at our house! He really really needs this cruise.
Once I'm better I'm going to need your guys help and advice on something I can do for him. He needs a good surprise.

I'm very behind on getting things ready for the cruise. Chad is going to help me tomorrow with my FE gifts. He's being a great sport about it and really getting into it.

Demetris I hope to get better to finish your FE. Sorry for the wait!!!

Anyways, I will be reading the boards, but not posting so much cause it takes to long to type with 1 finger!!

JorDan, I hope your visit to the doctor goes well.

I have a huge "to do" list that I keep adding to because I don't want to forget anything. My family now realizes that because I am so prepared before the vacation we enjoy our vacation a lot more because of all the extra planning.

Oh -- I've also lost my voice. I'm a talker so it's a bummer. I wasn't even doing anything to hurt it. Just got sick and lost it. I hate not being able to talk. Luckily I know some sign language

Maybe we should all compare our To Do lists so none of us forget anything. I've already made appts for haircuts for both of us and a pedicure for me the week before. Need to finish my FE pouch and gifts...

I can't wait for you guys to get your room ##'s either! Funny, I have an assigned room but I checked anyways -- just to participate in the excitement!

Ok, so would y'all make fun of me or just feel sorry for me if I told you I started a 7 day cleanse today and am pretty darn sick from it! I know I know -- how stupid can I be, these things make you sick the first day or so but....wellllll.....I couldn't help myself. I guess I am hoping it will wash all those sugar cravings right away and I will quit hitting the girl scout cookies every night before bed. There is no way to lose any of my tum before the cruise that way!

Ok, back to the bathroom (TMI, I know I know sorry)....

I'm so sorry! I can't believe that they aren't willing to move one of your cabins closer to the other... I'd keep going up the food chain and calling them every day. The old "squeeky wheel" thing might just work.

aimathy also has a daughter that is 12. You might PM her and see if she is willing to start a penpal thing going on.

I've been tracking everyone's cabin assignments for the FE and Cruisers list. If you have two cabins and only one is participating, please let me know which cabin I should list so we have it correctly on the list.

Also, if anyone changes cabins (once you've listed it here) let me know so I can update the list. Its really seeming to get closer now...

Someone mentioned mailing stuff directly to the ship, have you done that before and had success?

I just looked at our room assignment and we are in 6107. Thats right next door to one of your rooms. I read on here somewhere that people have traded rooms while on the ship with no problem. They just talked to someone at guest services. I would be more than happy to do that. I would hate to be that far away from my children. The only problem I see is if for some reason they change our cabin number again before sailing. I've heard of that happening before but I doubt that will happen.

I don't think i can sleep. I'm glad to know it's not just me being crazy over this. My family is supose to be Happy weare all sad. I called Disney three times even spoke to two different managers. I am very dissapointed with the whole thing. io could deal with 5rooms apart maybe even ten,but this is crazy. Thanks for being their for me. How am i gonna sleep on the ship.I worry if anything were to happen i would never get to them. i'm sick over this. I will be writeing Disney a letter,because this is not right our Reservation are 1 # apart are names are the same ,and i booked them both. Why would they seperate us?
