Shawan -- just have to say, your post just BRIGHTENED up my day!

Oh -- and count me in for sitting back, relaxing and enjoying one of "those"!

Now for the scary part -- 5 weeks to go . Now how am I supposed to lose 50 pounds in 5 weeks?

Amanda -- like you, my life got in the way of my diet. We (Yoni too) are going on a 5 week "detox" so to speak. We are both hoping to shed a bit of weight (ok, ok, I know 50 is unlikely) and will quit drinking for a bit and eat "cleaner". The good thing is that the Studio Kitchen now offers 12 diet meals for the month so I may be able to "cook" healthy without thinking! No excuses now!

Jane -- do we really have to dress up that much for brunch? Was hoping to wear capris. (can you tell -- I love to wear capris ). I wish I could get by on a single pair of sandals but I will most likely have several. I will wear them all the time but will need brown, black and something dressy for the "dress up" nights. Great idea on the sunglasses! I think I will pick them up some.

Tammy -- good idea on Disney dollars! The kids have been saving for the trip for extras. I didn't know we could actually put it on their card! That is very cool! Ah -- and disposable camers -- you are right -- that is a FABULOUS idea (at least for Sabrina!). '

Dave -- good to hear your Sister is joining in! Sounds like a fun group.

Ok -- I am OFF today so taking advantage of the situation and going shopping!!!! I have a lot of returns so maybe I will return as much as I spend? It is a nice thought.

1. I always put Disney Dollars in the plastic eggs I hide for Carissa. The Disney Dollars can be used to pay your shipboard account (since it's a cashless system). OR I can put the DD directly onto her KTTW card so she has her own money to spend.

2. Disposable cameras (regular & underwater) so the she can take her own pictures.

3. This year Carissa is getting a 2bg music player for Easter. I loaded it with her music so she can take it with her and use it on the plane or the ship.

Great ideas!!! I'll have to remember these tips when we take our family cruise in September!!!

I'm jealous of everyone who is off (including my husband)! I had to see one patient in the hospital early this morning and the other ones couldn't come any other times except for 11:30 and 2:00. So, I'm stuck here at the office all by myself! I"m just praying the 2:00 will come early... The good news is that I've gotten all of my paperwork completed and I'll be starting next week off "fresh" without a big pile of papers to sign, dictate, etc.!

BTW Wish me luck! I'm on call the 2 weekends before the cruise. So, I'm thinking I'd better finish all my FE stuff and shopping either this weekend or I'm in trouble. IF I am interpretting the schedule correctly, I'll actually be on call 3 weekends in a row! Talk about torture, but hopefully some $$ will come out of all of that work! Too bad I don't get paid per page...

Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend! It's stormy here and we are expecting 65 mph winds with hail, so no hikes this evening!

Shawan , The drinks are great! You have to hear our story about thoese drinks. I get mine half/half strawberry /pina colada.( i will share this story on the cruise.)So i'm bringing Pixie dust your way. I figure if i leave now i'll make it just in time for your BBQ lol. I love Food! My diet isn't going so great. Just get your family involved in the cooking. Ask if anyone wants to help. just have snacky food ready. That way they can snack and cook at the same time. This makes for a Happy family. ok off for an hour walk. I'm hungry just thinking about it.

Maplemouse, what part of Tennessee are you from? Knoxville? We are in Bristol. My son and daughter will be on the cruise 22 and 19. They are both in college right now. This is my son's last year and then off to law school in the Fall. Is your daughter in college?

Just checked the May 9th Magic sailing and saw that some cruisers got their room assignments, that means we are getting sooo close!!!!!

The one's that have posted have gotten upgrades too!

I hope they hurry up!! I'm getting so impatient....I'm keeping my fingers crossed that some of us get upgrades!!!!!

We spent a week in Key West a few summers ago (GREAT vacation ) after stopping there on our DCL western a few years before. We ate at Margaritaville (it's a "must" to eat at the original), Fogarty's on Duval Street (we ate there 2 nights in a row ~ their burgers and salads were AWESOME), Blue Heaven, down near the Southernmost Point (we had breakfast there and I thought Brian was going to have to excuse himself from the table based on the "noises of pleasure" he was making while eating his lobster eggs benedict , it's a very "eclectic" place, but wonderful food), Sloppy Joes (pretty good burgers), a shack called BO's fish wagon down by the Waterfront Market (looks like a shack, literally, but had great fish and conch fritters) , Brian LOVES sushi and ate at Origami's and proclaimed it EXCELLENT, Turtle Krawls on the waterfront (for breakfast our last day, almost as good as Blue Heaven ~ I have struggled for 2 years to try and recreate the wonderful breakfast burritos that I had there, their lunch menu looked good too). We also ate at a few different oyster bars, although the names escape me. In one (where Jake had his first raw oyster and LOVED it ~ blech ), we were sitting at the bar eating and in walks a dog, then a cat and finally a rooster . Only in Key West!! ~ Kathy
