Hi, my name is Paul (DIS Board crowd: Hi Paul), and this is my first Pre-Trip Report.

Cast:

Me: Paul, 30 yrs old, 5 Time visitor (84’, 96’, 97’, 99’, 00’) to WDW. I’m a bit of a wuss when it comes to thrill rides. Well until this year maybe…….

Wife: Christina, 29 yrs old, current Nursing Student, but will have graduated by the time we visit. Visited WDW when she was a child, and doesn’t remember much.

Daughter: Lorelai, 4 yrs old, loves Disney Princesses (especially the movie Tangled), LOVES flamingo’s, and excited for her first trip to WDW. Loves to watch ride video’s on mom’s iPad.

As in the title, this will be a trip celebrating my wife’s graduation, and my daughters 5th birthday. She doesn’t actually turn five while we are visiting, but it is soon after we return home. This will also be a trip of Firsts for each one of us.

-Myself, I have never rode SM, BTMRR, or Everest, but this year I’m going to try them out.
-My wife has never stayed on property before, and this trip will be like a first because she has the memory of a frog. :D
-Lorelai, well she is 4, that speaks for itself.

Anyway, we are a very laid back, come as you go type of family. We don’t make hard plans, we just play it by ear. Now I know it can be tough being that way when it comes to WDW, but I think we can make it work. However we have made some general plans on what we want to do, and even plan to make a couple ADR’s. Its my daughters dream to meet the Princesses, and my Wife wants to eat within the castle, so we are going to try and book a breakfast at CRT one morning. We all want to meet Donald and Mickey also, so we plan on a Donald’s Safari Breakfast. That’s about it. Go early in the morning, do what Lorelai is interested in, go back to the room in the afternoon to swim and rest, and go back in the evening. We will have our own vehicle that we will use to get back and forth to the parks also.

Oh I almost forgot! We booked our room this week through dvcrequest.com, and we are staying in a Studio – Savannah Room at Jambo House. We are really excited about this!

Anyway, I hope to fill you in more on our upcoming trip in the next couple of months. Until then, take care!

YAY! Another person with a long time to plan!

Very Cool! Hoping the crowds will be tolerable, and the weather also.

Does anyone know what to expect crowd wise during this time of year? I know we are a week or so out from kids getting out for summer break, but I cant find any information.

Any help?

Most Florida schools get out around June 6th per my brother who lives there. We expect low to moderate crowds. Early morning should be good , short lines etc.
My advice is head to fantasyland pronto. We will be taking the little ones and hope to by the pool by noon!pirate::cool2:
