In Barcelona, our disney sponsored trip to Montserrat is not expected to return to 5:15. I think that implies they won't be leaving port at 4:30.

When should we schedule our first Bridge game? What about the first sea day afternoon?

It is possible the ship won't be able to stay overnight at the port. This happens sometimes. They have to leave port and return the next morning.
I believe if they stay n port then we will not have to be back on by 4pm.
On the Panama cruise we were in port in Aruba overnight and were able to stay onshore as long as we wanted to that night. So it depends on rather we actually stay docked or not...

No worries, even Americans ask where RI is. RI is the smallest state in the US. I love it. It's nickname is the ocean state.

Hi! I would so love to be joining you guys! We had our first DCL cruise on the Magic last Fall and have been trying to find a way back ever since.

We have a lot of "ifs"...IF, DH can change jobs in May and IF the new one will let him start later, we might be able to swing this booking GTY.

But, how are you all getting back to the U.S.? The one-way tix from Europe are insane.

Just in case we can make this happen, I'm doing research. Any airfare tips are appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Everyone

I have just booked this cruise for myself (Krystyne) and my daughter (Angeline,19). We will also be on the 11 night Mediterranean immediately after this one. This is our 3rd Disney cruise but our first Transatlantic. Angeline was quite ill on the other 2 cruises as she was suffering badly from crohn's disease but it is in remission now and she is so excited. We are both looking forward to meeting new people and hopefully making new friends. Oh, forgot to say we are from Perth, Western Australia.

when I was exploring very early am options of flying home 5/28 or late 5/27, I was told by DCL that we would be able to leave in the middle of the night or early am and we just needed to let Guest services know ahead of time- so would imagine that we will be docked all night for this to have been possible. but I didn't inquire regarding will we be able to come & go off the ship 5/28 pm for touring past the 4p

I had heard mix things about this. I hope we don't have to be onboard at 4. I was hoping to enjoy the day and evening in Barcelona. Seems silly if the ship is at dock in Barcelona to make us all come onboard at 4.

if you go out to your reservation online it tells the times for all ports and Barcelona states:

Arrival: 7:00 am - Overnight


Last year we stayed docked all night people came and went at all times - we left the ship very early the next morning to catch a 9:30 am flight.


Also it says that we are getting to CC at 7:30 - all ashore time

Sorry. I meant to get back with you. I am going to do Montserrat full day. It also stops at La Sagrada Familia for an outdoor stop. I am go into town for the evening, if I am not too tired from all the walking. I realized that I am not going to be able to see everything since Barcelona is so large. I heard the views and hiking are amazing.

Cool. They actually tried to change the name to just RHode Island but it didn't pass which I am glad. I like our name.

I know they have a few on board, but from what I've been told they are only for those staying with DCL in Barcelona. They do half day things & then drop off at the various DCL hotels.

We really had a ton of fun last year with some of the tours that are through the HOHO bus, but they leave so early that it's risky!

I can't really sew so I just cut out felt shapes and gluded them onto the felt pockets.
