We live in Grove City PA. I'm sure you've never heard of it, it's very small! We are about 45 minutes north of Pittsburgh, so we are flying out of Pittsburgh on the 13th. Can't wait. Got MORE snow here last night & this morning. I'm ready for spring and Disney!!

We travel to Hershey PA about once a year or so, are you near that area?

My oldest will be turning 8 soon too. On April 7th, but that's during "Spring Break" for Disney, so we didn't want to go then. We will be celebrating while in Disney in May!

Looks like I will have to go to The Home Depot and look for these LGMH's that everyone is talking about! We will be a party of 4 on the 15th at The Crystal Palace, me, DH and 2 active little boys - ages 8 & 5 1/2 then! Hope to be able to meet you!

First WDW trip - Oct 2005 - Caribbean Beach
Upcoming trip - May 2007 - Port Orleans French Quarter

I've heard of Grove City (there is a college there, right?). My oldest DS will be heading to Pittsburgh the weekend before we leave for Disney for a middle school band trip/competition. They'll be doing all kinds of things there, including a day at Kenneywood. He's really excited about the trip! It's a good 6-7 hours, so needless to say, I'm glad I'm not a chaperone for that trip!LOL
You asked about Hershey, and it is about 1 1/2 hours southwest of us. We don't get there as often as we used to. Dh's grandmother's both lived there, but they both passed away last fall. We did make a trip for Candylane though, and that was fun.

We got snow here today too...it's still lightly falling. Our district called off school though. I have no idea why, because it's really not that bad out!

I'm contemplating getting myself one of those Baggallinni bags in Lime green (to show my support of the Dis!). I'm a red-head, my mom is a red-head, and my youngest DS is a red-head. We stand out! LOL And then I'll have my grumpy pubescent and hormonal 12 year old too...he also tends to stand out!

Not much longer to go!! Yahoo!!!!

Upcoming trip - May 2007 Port Orleans French Quarter

We've been in May once(same time frame as our upcoming trip), June once, and September/October a few times. We loved our May trip. It was the best trip we ever had. The crowds were fairly light and the weather was beautiful. The days were warm, but not unbearable, and the nights were cool enough that we wore sweatshirts. When we were there last trip (the end of Sept into the beginning of October) it was TERRIBLY hot and humid and SOOO crowded!!! That time of year used to be my favorite, but not anymore.

Us too! we went 9/28-10/6 or something like that and it was awful crowd wise! blahhh! never again!

May weather - I've been to Disney once in May. It was beautiful and high eighties. It didn't rain all week and the crowds were pretty light. I hope it is the same.

We were in Disney in December a few years ago and it was cold! It got down to the mid 30's at night. It was before Christmas and the crowds weren't bad.

March had great weather but was so crowded because of spring breakers.

We LOVED our May trip. It is our favorite time to go!!
I am a teacher and I am not working this year because of the baby. I'm thrilled to be able to go off season! I definately had to take advantage of being able to travel in May.

The barber shop is indeed on Main Street, in the left hand corner, near City Hall. We make it a point to stop in and see Mary every trip. She is wonderful! In fact, I sent her a Christmas card this past year because visiting her is a highlight every time. Make sure you go. They don't take appointments, and sometimes the wait is pretty lengthy.

Glad to hear it!! Wow, we must have been at WDW at nearly the same time on our last trips! We were there Oct 2-7 2005. Our first WDW vacation. Boy was it hot and crowded! In the mid 90's everyday and 40-70 minute waits on the popular attractions. I'm hoping for that not to be the case in May!

I would definitely be interested in at DIS meet in Pittsburgh. Maybe you should start a new thread!!

We went to Kennywood for the first time this summer. It was alright, but now to me all other theme parks fail in comparison to WDW!

We really enjoy Carnegie Science Center and Station Square in Pittsburgh. Ever go to those?

Walk in only! we went 2 seperate times fro the kids, since one was always asleep! haha! And each time there was no one in there. HOWEVER we were there about 20 minutes after opening! hahah! everyone runs for the rides!!

YUP! we moved it to October i believe of next year, but we still won't go then, that's only as far as they have released the dates. I'm not positive though. They said as they release more dates, we can move it back again. I think we want to go in 2009, when everyone will be old enough. it was sooo close
